You can use local bitcoins for cash, wire, paypal, western union, meeting the person or a number of other types of transactions.

As sailsh-sea explained, there are quite a number of other payment methods.
But the number of traders near you and the payment methods you can find, really depend on your location.

Trading it for cash will be the cheapest. Maybe you can also find some who will like to trade it with PayPal money. Transferring trough banks is really costly than other methods.

You could also use Gyft and exchange cryptos for gift cards for use in shops.

Cheapest way would be to sell it for cash via Localbitcoins.

A side note for using localbitcoins.

You can search the existing deals and pick one to sell your bitcoin, or you can create a new deal yourself and wait for others to buy your bitcoin. The good thing about creating your own deal is that you can get a much better price, but you will need to pay 1% fee and the process may take some time.

I have used Localbitcoins quite a lot. As a buyer, there is very little risk if you use the site's escrow and you deal with reputable people.
