After you see a very obvious reversal pattern on the weekly chart  -  not something wishy washy and speculative.

How would it look like? Can you show us a statistical prove, that this kind of patterns works?
If the success rate isn't higher than 50%, you could do a coinflip instead.

I hope so. Got a few months left to pay my debt before I can start buying again. May the bearwhale be with me.

Cheesy you make it sound like holding an investment for one year to see gains (and if bitcoin's past is any indication... huge gains) is a valid reason to just give up  Grin

I'd hold for 10 years to get the kind of returns bitcoin saw last year!

Night gathers, and now my bitcoinwisdom watch begins.

hopefully you won't have to but I plan on giving BTC away in my will. I may sell some over the next few years, but I'll be hodling some BTC until my death or it's death, whichever comes first.

wrong, it doesnt have that role yet. Confidence in fiat cannot be lost just like that, instead, confidence in certain currency that is controlled by a specific government. Am sure Bitcoin will rise when a major organisation such as facebook announces that it will accept it as a form of payment. thats when it will be like boom,am hoping its not too soon because i have not stocked enough BTC

.....  After all the holding speculators give up, and start spending coins.  Speculation won't make the price go up if new buyers aren't showing up.  New buyers only show up when the trend is going up.  The trend doesn't go up unless BTC shows it has value by being used.

I see the value of Bitcoin, so I don't worry about the price...
