Thinking it's Germany's year to win the whole thing.

They are ranked #2 according to the FIFA global rankings, above both Brazil (#3) and Argentina (#5). But it would take nothing less than a miracle to get them to the Semi Finals.

We're taking bets on the team that will score the least goals in the tournament. The current favourite might surprise you...

https://sportsbook.cloudbet.com/?event=69102

Interesting:

Australia 4.20
Costa Rica 5.90
Iran 5.80
Honduras 5.90

but I believe that australia and costa rica should be on the list but votes are votes

I think honduras won't score on championship

Brazil is my favored team, they have some amazing players and near optimum teamplay, their only flaw is that Messi is from Argentina  Smiley

lol... that would have been a really strong side. Imagine Branislav Ivanović, Aleksandar Kolarov, Luka Modrić, Ivica Olić, Edin Džeko, Stevan Jovetić.etc in the same team. (We can also add Adnan Januzaj and Zlatan Ibrahimović).

This is a great idea. We should organize an exhibition match between the USSR (all the 15 independent nations + the semi-independent ones, such as Donetsk, Abkhazia, Transdniestria.etc) and the Yugoslavia (Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, BiH, Montenegro, Macedonia + Kosovo).

This will cause many politics problems. With all the Crimea, Ukraine and Syria people accuses Putin to be re-rising the Sovietic Union. And many people in the sovietic republics are anti-russian,.

Nope... it has nothing to do with re-creating the Soviet empire. We can just organize a match, to raise funds for the Balkan flood disaster. It can also mark the 23rd anniversary of the disintegration of the USSR and Yugoslavia.  Grin

Even that will be a good idea. There is a lot of bad blood between some of the Ex-Yugoslavian nations, for example between Croatia and Serbia. If football can help in eliminating this hatred, then it will be really great.
