If that goal came a minute earlier before Germany scored theirs this game could have went into Extra time
That said this world cup is intense lot of ET games going on looking forward to tommorrows games
USA vs Belgium
Argentina vs Switzerland
Predictions
Going with Belgium over USA
And the Argentine over the Swiss
I think will be an easy will for Argentina, but USA will win or at least draw in the regular time I got Argentina over Swiss, and Belgium beating USA, only because I am always wrong and secretly want the US to win. But hopefully I will be wrong on 1 of the games(USA) and correct on the one I am betting on(Argentina)! Good luck all! |

Belgium and Argentina are favorites but I think both games are a lot closer than a lot of people think. Like 60/40 in favour of Argentina and 55/45 in favour of Belgium.

Nah i think Argentina is way more favorite, Argentina has so many individual figures and home field advantage, while with Belgium you are correct, they are so overrated and Usa is not weak. |

The GermanyVSAlgeria game was an intense game today. Was on the edge of my seat the whole game.
I think Algeria just gave people a whole new realization of their abilities, even if they did not win in the end.

I feel a sleep last night n I see that Germany won the game. Hope to see Argentina and maybe USA in 1/4 finals but from all games that i watch seems like it will be hard to see.

Going with the Belgium bandwagon on this one with a bit of risk on the betmoose three different bets on this haha and risk my 96% 98.66% accuracy lol luck. That said from the sentiment there a lot of US Fans here  Argentina is going to go through here in my opinion so the interesting game will be USA Belgium  Then again each of these games so far have been a bit of a shocker or intense Example Brazil and Chile ET Then Penalties and Costa Rica those bad a** underdogs surviving hell with Uruguay England and Spain together against that Central America team and finishing in the 1st seed and then taking on Greece and winning I always love a true underdog already in the top 8 teams in the world after this world cup. Even Germany and Algeria with the ET and putting up a fight with that goal from Algeria after the German scored theirs if it was the Algerians who scored first who knows what could have happened with the tide. So far the underdogs of these last 16 fixtures are putting up a fantastic account of themselves. All of the matches so far have been entertaining in some capacity, with the games being far tighter than many would have anticipated before the game.
This is a World Cup of record breaking so far. So many goals, so many entertaining matches and surprise progressions and eliminations.
I think that Belgium will come good tonight, and that Argentina will prove too strong for the Swiss. Once Argentina find their rhythm they could prove to be dangerous on the attack. They just need to keep tight on the counter and set pieces and they should be fine.

I actually placed a small amount of coin on Alg just for the huge payout risk....Figured it would be gone but heck they just need 1 lucky shot and its all mine!

Have you seen both Argentina and Switzerland play? Further Belgium is not overrated (quite the opposite). The USA is just underrated as always. |

I got Germany, although after yesterday even though they had great chances throughout the game, that could have easily been a loss and they woulda been gone!

This spread is way to much. I would assume betfair has much better odds. WoW, I would\ve given the highest odds to Brazil with the way they have been playing lately. No way they will make it past the next game. |

My predictions for tonight: Argentina - Zwitserland: 1-2 Usa - Belgium: 1-3 And im from Holland damn that last game versus mexico was nervebreaking. I was watching it with friends and we almost gave up already, but there was still a bit of hope ofcourse. And then we scored the goal, it went crazy, all our hope was back and we knew we could take them in the normal playing time. And then the penalty, that was just the cherry on the pie. Finals here we come |
