If bitcoin is being banned in China, how come the fiatleak.com website shows Chinese outspending US by 50:1?

Because OKcoin and BTCchina are still operating. Apparently banning Bitcoin twice in China isn't enough to shut it down. Smiley

True lol.

Btw, there are some rumors that the Chinese exchanges have been faking their trading volumes. Smiley

What makes you think fiatleak is entirely accurate? I'd be sceptical of something like this being so.

Show me another payment system that can pay you someone $10.000.000 USD: to and from anywhere in the world, 24/7 without restrictions, nearly instantaneously, irreversible, with $0.00 in fees* , cant be frozen or seized.

Thats why  Smiley besides, Chinese government ban and unban bitcoin 10 times per month, its for market manipulation  Cheesy

Fiatleak will ALWAYS show as if people are putting money INTO bitcoin. However there are always 2 sides to a trade the sell and buy.

They dont show the sell side but show the buy side.

Eg, if someone puts a sell order for 1000 bitcoins @ $450 and someone in south africa buys 500 it will look like $225,000 has gone into bitcoin when really a trade has occurred, so the same amount is getting pulled out of the system by the seller.

Hope this makes sense
