I didn't realize that gold went up by 10,000 times then crashed down to 1/3 of its value. O.o

The guy is a Bitcoin evangelist like many on this forum, myself included. He preaches what he sees as the truth for the greater good of humanity.

For him and I, Amazon accepting Bitcoin is a matter of when, not if.

I doubt it will do anything to he price until something is officially announced, there has been too much speculation until now.

Wouldn't that be crashing up 3,333x?  I think most gold owners would be very happy if gold crashed like that.  Except it hasn't.

Kind of reminds me of the whole issue of perspective.

It's funny when you see, after a crash, mainstream news saying how terrible bitcoin is because it is susceptible to crash and lost a lot of its value etc etc.   When, although it is just as valid of a perspective, you don't see nearly as many news articles about bitcoin has gained in value +350% in the last two years.
