If that's even his name. Just read the bitcoin wiki on him and I'm amazed. Nobody knows him.
Long time passed since he last posted in here. Why? "Busy"? I don't think so. He was active when bitcoin needed support but since the slashdot...
Also, it seems has knowledge in many areas, especially economy. He doesn't act like the average human. Not taking advantage out of his creation, leaving without telling anything. Is he even a single person or a group?
How can someone create something so great and not stepping out to get the credit?
What credit is there to gain? How will decentralization work out if it's a threat to the government? Central bank will be on Nakamoto's ass if he revealed himself, the man or whomever they may be is smart, he knew this is going to a big slap to the centralized world and the government aren't going to like it. |

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

In my opinion, Satoshi Nakamoto is not a group of developers, but one person.
He possessed encyclopedic knowledge in many areas. Satoshi was well versed in cryptography, programming, economics, and the theory of evolution.
Moreover, he was a very careful person. Maybe he was a cypherpunk, or maybe he worked for the NSA (National Security Agency) for a while. He was both a strategist and a tactician, a pragmatist and a romantic, seeking to change our world.
He created Bitcoin. It was important for him that the Bitcoin network functioned without its creator.
Bitcoin is one of the most amazing experiments in world history.

It feels great that the talk began on April 16, 2011, and still continues. The power of Bitcoin is that. No one knows who created but it exists. Also, he/she/they were so successful at hiding their identities. It must be hard for them to be silent all these years. It proves that "they" are grown-up people that do not want personal popularity. Satoshi is not the creator of BTC- He is the value concept of Bitcoin.

Satoshi Nakamoto is inventor of the Bitcoin protocol, publishing a paper outlining it via the Cryptography Mailing List on November, 1 2008.He then released the first version of the Bitcoin software client in 2009 and participated with others on the project via mailing lists until he finally began to fade from the community toward the end of 2010.

I think Satoshi Nakamoto is a community name, not a person. When you look at Bitcoin, you will see that it is impossible for a person to establish such a perfect financial system on his own. This group also made the first bitcoin mining and got rich and kept their hands off this business.
Bitcoin wasn't so unique invention. The first digital cash technologies were developed in 1980s. If Adam Back could invent Hashcash alone, why Sathoshi couldn't? |

Since he has remained anonymous for the last 12 years, I don't think that he will ever reveal his real identity. There may be others who know about his real identity, such as Theymos. But so many years have passed and the last time Satoshi made a post in this forum was more than a decade ago. With every passing year, the probability of finding out his real identity is getting lower.
Yep, definitely. It has been more than a decade since Satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin and I don't think he has plans of revealing his real identity. (I'm using "he" and "his" because I assume he is a guy even though we're not also certain with his gender.) Maybe those first comers here in this community know or have an idea of who Satoshi is but I don't think they'll disclose that as well. If Satoshi Nakamoto is still here but using a different name already, I would just like to thank him for his creation. It changed the lives of many and of those who are yet to experience this. I'm sure he's happy wherever he is. Let's let him be.  |

I believe Satoshi was working on this idea for quite a while...looking at the code, I don't think this was something he threw together in a couple months. I think he may have been working on it for several years and took great pains to ensure it was sufficiently evolved such that it wouldn't simply die shortly after its release.
He is really smart person and he give us good opportunities to earn.Now he is one of the rich man of this cryptocurrency.Because,he is creator of bitcoin. |

No one knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is in detail. only Generally people know that Satoshi Nakamoto is the creator of bitcoin. After all, people just think there is no definite source.

Satoshi Nakamoto is the one who invented bitcoin and until now there is no current and real news on where and who Satoshi Nakamoto is. Until now there are so many people who are trying to pretend that they are the real Satoshi Nakamoto and I don't get what they are getting on doing this, because obviously no one will believe them especially right now that the people are knowledgeable already in the bitcoin industry.

No one knows the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. Everyone can only guess whether Satoshi is a pseudonym or Satoshi is the name of a group or Satoshi is indeed the name of someone who does not want to be identified in public.

Satoshi Nakamoto is the name used by the presumed pseudonymous person or persons who developed bitcoin, authored the bitcoin white paper, and created and deployed bitcoin's original reference implementation. As part of the implementation, Nakamoto also devised the first blockchain database.

We dont even know if this man/women is already dead, right? We have been searching for satoshi the whole time but still we do fail to do so and just like with his creation then he decided to be anonymous and taking off governments eye away from him knowing that his creating is really a big threat due into its decentralized aspect. Lots had claimed that they we're satoshi and all of them ending up on being a imposter.So finding him after this very on point will be somewhat useless. We shouldnt stress ourselves for this matter because if he would decide to show himself in the public then all will definitely know. |
