Question: Should a portion of the unclaimed coins be made available for those that missed the swap?
Yes - We have enough to spare, even for late-comers.
No - Sufficient notice and time to complete the swap was given. It wouldn't be fair to those that were punctual.

How can I exchange the original Coffeecoin1.0?

Exchanges notified

So it's been brought to my attention (By Bittrex) that the exchanges can swap the coins behind the scenes, no need for a version 1/version 2 parity. That makes things very simple, and greatly lowers the overall risk. This will require maximum participation by everyone involved, as this update will be mandatory. All you guys will need to do is have all of your coins on one of the exchanges, update to the new wallet, and wait for the go-ahead to withdraw. OP will be constantly updated with which exchanges are on-board to assist with the swap.

Thanks! http://CFCGuild.com is almost ready for beta release, as well. There's still a lot of tweaking and planning to do, but it's looking great! When beta vendor hosting goes live, you'll be able to buy WORCAS Coffee using CFC Cheesy

Not a chance; the former dev did that. One does not create a sense of value by giving something away in large chunks for free.

Post a screenshot, so we can all see exactly what you're dealing with. It's possible, since you have a lot of coins, that you're sending out too many at once.

Hmm, that's very unusual. The wallet is getting completely rewritten, and will be launched by next weekend. If you're unable to transfer to an exchange for the coin swap by the release date, let me know. I'm aware of the bugs; our current wallet (v1.1) is completely broken and utterly useless lol

Maybe it's got something to do with the network being so slow. There has been a ten hour gap since the last block. You can see the last block times listed here.

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/cfc/

Here's the times of the last 7 blocks.

70682   10 hours 43 minutes
70681   18 hours 23 minutes
70680   18 hours 43 minutes
70679   19 hours 13 minutes
70678   20 hours 16 minutes
70677   21 hours 16 minutes
70676   1 day 32 minutes

Is there any way to speed the network up?

POW is still enabled and the difficulty is 1.0. The original "dev" set the retarget to a ridiculously high value, so it the difficulty shouldn't get any higher or lower any time soon (at least not before relaunch). Other than a retarget, I don't know of any other way to speed the network up.

Someone on the smurfs coin thread had the same error.

Anyone getting the same error as me on wallet ? Huh

Error: Transaction creation failed

WFT? Wallet is all sync'd and staking ...

Anyone with ideas/suggestions on this?

Thanks

I'm not sure if it's right, but one comment gave this reason for it.

Pretty sure the wallet has an issue with sending coins when total exceeds an address balance - and since there's no advanced coin control, it's up to trial and error.

So dev abandoned this coin?
omg I still have so many left in my wallet.

Send them to me Cheesy   anyone else who doesn't want their smurfcoin also feel free to send them to me Cheesy Cheesy

Lets try that one, to see if the error persists.
PM your address, I'll send a few just to troubleshoot this.

Thanks

EDIT: never mind, I'll use the one on your sig. TX 2f66716e22833af9da21003ae17d062823f27081a6c309b38b359f5a405365ac for 10 TSC, please confirm if you got them

I think there's something wrong with the addresses generated in the Exchanges  Undecided

Sounds plausible. Try using "getbalance <InsertWalletLabel>" in the debug window, and tell us what it says. I just noticed the wallet label part is case-sensitive, so be careful there. If it's less than the amount you're trying to send, perhaps that really is the issue.

If xtsjyfx is still getting the Transaction creation failed error I doubt it is caused by the network's speed. It's now on block 70724 and it seems to be going a lot faster than yesterday. The times since the last 10 blocks are below.

70724   1 hour 18 minutes
70723   1 hour 27 minutes
70722   1 hour 35 minutes
70721   2 hours 3 minutes
70720   2 hours 13 minutes
70719   2 hours 49 minutes
70718   2 hours 49 minutes
70717   2 hours 58 minutes
70716   3 hours 3 minutes
70715   3 hours 7 minutes
