Yeah, the payouts are just delayed for almost a day or so from the time the mining is done. But they come out regularly.

Changes to the KNC Miner Giveaway:

Yesterday was the first day that the KNC miner promo got hit! To make sure you guys actually have a chance at winning, we want to make some changes:

We will lengthen the promo with one month.
The original cut off date was the 3rd of July, due to the problems with showing the right stats on V2 for profitability & the updates to the pool itself with Version 2 releasing we think it's fair to lengthen the promo to Friday the 1st of August!

In this way there will be enough chances for everyone to get their tickets in and also to actually hit the 15 day min. hash requirements!

There is more coming about the KNC miner promotion in the near future, watch this space!

UPDATE OF PRIZES MINING GEAR PROMO

Hi everyone, couple of days ago we held a poll seeing what the public wanted regarding prices for the current KnC miner promo. The poll was pretty clear showing an 82% support for more prizes instead of one big one. Starting today the prize will change, the $ amount will stay the same.

The Prizes
THESE WILL CHANGE BY THE END OF THE PROMO, BUT AN EXAMPLE TEMPLATE IS THE FOLLOWING:

First Prize:
The WarMachine 54 MH/s - Value: 5900$

Second & Third Prize:
The Black Widow 13 MH/s - Value: 1800$

And then there's 4x The Fury 1MH/s Scrypt Asic that are worth 150$ each.

All these prizes will change over time as new ASICs hit the market. We want to make sure that as soon as August get's close you'll get the best deal for the money that we offer on this.

We hope this will give more incentive to everyone to mine more at the BlackCoinPool! More prizes, more chances to win Smiley!

Also, we will be renaming the promo from 'KNC Promo' to 'MiningGear Promo'.
Currently the required hash has risen to 7,5 GH/s as the five 5 GH/s have now been filled! The MiningGear Promo is now 33% along the way!

So instead of a 300 MH system now the prizes all together tally up to 84 MH. That's an improvement? I'm surprised people actually said they'd favor this.

That 300 MH/s KNC system isn't guaranteed to be here by August.  Maybe it will be.  They have a 150 MH/s for 5k if that happens.  At the time of the contest they will do whatever $5900 is worth for a miner, so it won't necessarily be the same hash speed, but it won't be 84 MH either.  That's just me deducing what is written above.   Roll Eyes

The people who programmed Blackcoin pool are mispresenting the facts - their reported results are not true - here's proof

On June 20 they show .001307 BTC/Mr Profitability on their site

but yet they only paid out 743 BC and according to their charts they should have paid me 843 BC

Even if I took the top paying amount for BC on the 20th of June it was: .00026897 X 743 BC = .1998447 BTC

.1998447 BTC / 177MH = .001129 BTC/MH

the facts and charts prove it - do not believe what you see on their site - it's a fabrication.

The difference between .001307 and .001129 may appear small but it's the differerence between making $138/day and only making $119/day and that's a 15% difference

they are fabricating their returns

 here's the proof

You're right.

I've been mining at blackcoinpool for 2 days and I've got way less than it should have been according to their reported results.
Simple solution, I don't mine there anymore.

Black Coin Pool is not a scam. Nor is anything to do with Black Coin a scam. I am a developer there, and I am on IRC 24/7 and answering support tickets on the pool itself. I was looking into this issue as I came across this thread

There are many things to consider, for one, BCP is a multipool. There are no Black Coins left to mine as it is pure POS. We mine different coins which we calculate to be the most profitable and sell them to buy BC to pay out miners in, just as other multipools do.
Doing this takes some time, and payouts are generally once every 24 hours. Also, they are not the same time for different algos. Say the SHA payout and the x11 payout may be at different times.

Another thing to consider is the donation slider in account over view. Some people are donating to the pool, the developers, or the black shield project. Generally this is set at 2% automatically, but you can adjust accordingly. So the donations are not being paid out in that calculation.

Also consider this, the pool calculates the payout average for the day, we pay out once a day, and say the scrypt payout happens after or before midnight or the day change. This could swing that calculation as well. It may show less paid out that day because one algo's payout happened a few min after midnight or into the next day, or vise versa.

We have an IRC channel on freenode #blackcoinpool where myself, or someone is there 24/7 answering and helping with all issues. I assure you I will look into this further, but I'm sure it's a simple error in how the stats are being displayed via time, read, or a frontend issue.

We are not skimming or scamming anything, Black Coin is a legitamate coin with top 10 market cap. We have many developers and projects such as Black Halo and Night Trader, a PR team, and many things in the works.

This is a simple misunderstanding that I will look into further. Sorry late getting to this, I do not frequent these forums as I am always on IRC or answering support tickets, or codeing :-)

I hope you realize that I never meant to imply the pool is a scam and I never said that either - I simply stated that your daily earning estimates are incorrect and inflated.

I am not sure is this is intentional or not - only you would know that, but I do know that steps should be taken to correct this problem, otherwise there will be more comments like my own from other pool participants if they took the time to examine their earnings.

Hi, the estimate could be correct as the pool buys BC 24/7. You can measure the average BC price during this interval to see if the payout was or was not incorrect.

On June 20, the BC price fluctuated between 22 and 27k. It would be helpful, perhaps if the pool shows the BC payout instead of the BTC one.

I understand that, but it's really a flawed system that's complicated by many variables complicated by the fact that they publish an earnings estimate even before they've paid out in bc - not my cup of tea...

in all honesty you can't publish an earnings estimate on the fly hen the price and difficulty vary every few minutes fro "secret coins" and the price varies for BC minute by minute.

I have been using the BC multipool as well as mining other coins since day 1.  The multipool has improved significantly its performance and on the average they can do a pretty decent job.  If you am jumping form one profitable coin to the next looking at charts and what is hot for the next few hours you can do better than multipool.  The statics shown on their graphs are not accurate but the reality of their high performance speak for itself.

If you are mining with a big farm looking to get the most BTC and have the time to scan for the hottest and latest coin every couple of hours then you should not aim at multipool.  You can probably beat multipool profits by a 5 to 15 %.

If you are an average miner like myself then multipool is a very good choice since I dont have the time to look for the latest and greatest coin.  My interest is to mine for BC and hold.

BTW a scam is what is happening today with all of the new shit coins that copy BC code and add unfounded fluff.  Calling BC multipool a scam is totally wrong.
