Guys I need your help, I just added BFGminer and CGminer (official latest versions) to Minera but now I would like to hear from you what you'd like to have as miner software in Minera (only cgminer/bfgminer forks for specific devices please). I'm looking at these specific for Zeus too: * https://github.com/Darkwinde/zeus_cgminer-3.7.2* https://github.com/dmaxl/cgminer/I would like to add a miner also for Innosilicon A1/A2 but I think the company hasn't release any source version yet. Now, it's the time for your suggestions! Feedback please! I've had the best luck with CPU Miner, but I haven't tried the newest BFGminer. I believe michelem is talking about device support other than gridseeds (like Zeus). Yeah, but I know that there are forks for the gridseeds as well.

Therefore, my main desire is to have the possibility to balance my hashing power as I do with my S1 rigs. Any of the CGMiner/BFGMiner current versions support this option, but will Minera support it too? That would be truly awsome!

Me to so far I got 7 blades running stable on minera some are pushed up as far as 860mhz running great. I sat down and tuned each blade one by one to find the best clock value

I am excited for this a well. I have a weird issue that came up last night.
I created a second minera machine and both old and new are showing wrong time even though set to corrrect time zone and the dashboard says not mining but if i run the log i can clearly see it mining. I have rebooted the pi restarted the miner problem wont go away any ideas?

Correct, dashboard times are from your local pc, while Minera works with its system time, that's why I introduced the timezone settings and you should set it the same you have in your browser/pc. Beware from IE! (I need to put a disclaimer on the github page "Never tested with IE")

This is going to skyrocket minera usage. Those of us that know how need to write up how to compile, and update the mining software to replace the stock ones listed( ie. using nwolls version of bfgminer to use both grid and zeus in same instance), etc. great news!!

To add new miner softwares you will need to ask me and it will be my pleasure add it to the list of available ones. But you will be able to do this by hand too simply overwriting one of the binary file, so for example if this is a bfgminer fork, overwrite the bfgminer official file in minera-bin/ directory and you are done Please can you give me the github page for the nwools fork? I'd like to add it now so you will have in v0.3.0. Thanks!

going to add it instantly! Can I ask if you know why isn't it in the master tree? Does BFGminer 4.4.0 lack zeus support?

These are just for testing / dev before we merge them into BFGMiner proper. BFGMiner 4.4 supports GridSeed, DualMiner, ZeusMiner, etc. etc: https://github.com/luke-jr/bfgminer

Sure thing - I cleaned up my branches to try to prevent confusion. They are really only useful before we merge them.
