Looking forward to the latest. I am having a problem logging in to my latest install. I loaded up a Banana PI with raspiberry for the Banana and installed minera on that. But every time I try to log into the webpage it rejects the password . I cleared my browsers cache. Tried to use both IE and chrome and both do the same thing. Can I ssh into the system and put the webpage system password into wherever it's kept so I can log in using my regular web password?

If you have 0.5.0 you can reset the web password to "minera" with this: echo -n "70e880b1effe0f770849d985231aed2784e11b38" | redis-cli -x set minera_password

I may have to give it a try. I just re-wrote the card back to stock. I think the problem might have been I ran update then upgrade before I installed minera. Gonna try it back from stock and see if that's what it was. Thanks for the info,

It worked doing it the way I did it. You have to do the install but before ya do it you need to run sudo apt-get update to get the latest locals updated then it installs just fine. Then you go through the setup and config of Minera then do the sudo apt-get upgrade and it's all done.

Or you need to portforward the Minera web/ssh port from your home router, then you could reach your Minera using your home public/WAN IP (instead the private/LAN one) Of course this needs some networking skills and you are exposing your Raspberry to the internet so take care. http://portforward.com/help/portforwarding.htm

Hello all. I just upgraded to 5.0. I exported my previous Minera settings, and imported them, but when ever Minera starts, it defaults to the multi.ghash.io pool. I went into settings and when I click on Save & Restart Miner, all that happens is the screen jumps down to "Top bar Settings", ok, so I selected 5 coins to show, but nothing happens when I click "Save" there. Been fighting this issue for a couple hours now, even imaged and tried without importing my previous Minera settings, so, HELP!!!!!!! lol. Not being able to search to see if this issue has already been answered/resolved is a pain in the keester...... Thanks in advance

Best try without waste more hours, start from scratch, downloading the 0.5.0 image build. Another chance is: did you check in the settings page you have everything filled? For example, many times, users can't see they have enabled MobileMiner without filling the email/apikey and settings won't save if something goes wrong. By the way 0.5.1 (coming next week) will have a reset button to, hopefully, remove this kind of problems.

Hey, been running Minera for quite a while, but suddenly, in the last week, it keep hijacking my miner and leaving them on donation pool. Doesn't matter if i turn donation off. So i tried updating. Now the dashboard also doesnt work on neither chrome nor IE nor firefox now, and it didnt fix the issue. Its as if failover-only is being turned off even tho its in the command line.

Yes (I used 2 fury and 4 gridseed)
but you have to use a USB hub self powered. On raspi, there is a lack of power on USB bus, so after put 3 miner, there is lot of bug During mining after some hours, one of the miner are not see by the raspberry, you have to unplug/plug it...
So to be sure there is no problem for long time mining, just add an usb hub between miners and raspberry...

You need to have a web server running PHP5, add a virtual host for the Minera document root and you should up and running. Of course you can't use some features because commands are different and you could have some issues, but you can give a try to it. By the way Minera is not compatibile with a Mac server, first and main requirement is a Ubuntu/Debian system, so please don't throw bugs/issues I will discard them.

I recently got my hands on a Canakit b+ with their included wifi dongle and I decided to throw Minera on the SD card. When I go to the wifi config (sudio wicd-curses), no wireless networks are shown. I'm not sure if the dongle isn't being detected by Minera or if the dongle simply not detecting my network. I've also tried manually editing the conf file via the instructions at https://github.com/michelem09/minera/wiki/Configure-Wifi (I'm rather new to linux, so I admit that it's possible I messed that part up somehow), but that did nothing either. I know the dongle isn't broken, because I plugged into my Win 7 PC and it got working fine there. Edit: Reflashed Minera to the SD card to start fresh, manually edited the conf file, and everything worked all of the sudden. However, I'm still having an issue: I'm currently trying to run 1x GAW Fury and 5x Gridseed Minis using cgdxmal, and Minera is detecting all 6 devices and showing them in the dashboard but only my Fury is hashing. It says my local hashrate is stable @ 3.15Mh/s, but my effective hashrate is ~1.4MH/s (which is the rate of my Fury alone). The Gridseeds work when they're the only things plugged in, so I know they aren't malfunctioning. My command line settings look like this: --scrypt --scan-serial gridseed:auto --gridseed-options freq=850,chips=5 --scan-serial zeus:auto --zeus-chips 6 --zeus-clock 350 --zeus-nocheck-golden --queue 0 --scan-time 1 --expiry 1
I also have several questions as what some of the abbreviations mean on the dashboard: AC, RE, CS, PS, CA, PA, CR, and PR. If you look below the Local Pools details table you can see the legend: Legend: CS = Current Shares, PS = Previous shares, CA = Current Accepted, PA = Previous Accepted, CR = Current Rejected, PR = Previous Rejected Current is the current or last session, Previous is the total of all previous sessions. Pool HashRate is based on shares over the time per session. For the mixed devices, I don't know, you could try to use libusb to autodetect devices but I don't know if that could be the problem, just remove the --scan-serial options, then you should play with it, try also do run the command manually from the terminal, it could be faster to find the best setup: --scrypt --gridseed-options freq=850,chips=5 --zeus-chips 6 --zeus-clock 350 --zeus-nocheck-golden

I am running 3 gridseed blades with a raspberry pi with powered usb hub. the blades seem to work fine one at a time or even two at a time but when I run 3 I get 2 dead blades. Is there a way to identify what blades are dead? I see minera identify s the blades as ttyACM0 ect..
Or maybe the blades are not the problem?

What miner software are you using? If you are using Cgminer Dmaxl you can use libusb (run it without --scan-serial option) to detect miner via serial numbers, you can connect one look at the serial and write down it to the miner and so on. Serial number doens't change, tty may change. For the problem described it seems like your powered hub it's not sufficient for 3 blades, probably a cheap one?

Network Miners like antminers can be monitored from Minera that means you can have a lot of info about them and you can also add/delete/select pools on the fly. You can't change anything else neither start or stop it, pools handled via Minera cannot be permanently saved, so if you restart them you got the previous ones.
