So I have asked Havelock to go to Cryptx and ask to update us on the reinvestment funds...

That was the answer: "At the moment there are no SCRYPT equipment on the market effecient enough to purchase .  They continue to look at all options."

What do you guys think?

I think it's accurate.

The mining market has been a loser's market for quite a while, we might need to wait some time to get into the profit zone again.

I think profit zone with CryptX is in an alternate reality. Good luck with getting the reinvest "fund" back without the help of legal authorities, which I'll call as soon as I have assembled different proofs.

Proofs of what?

CryptX , the game is over.
You failed in being on top of tech . There have been a few good deals and you failed to be first in line.

Now quit jurking us off. Gife the reinfesment fund as divident to us. We all know you are now mining just for your on profit and global warming.

Enough is enough even for you guys it must be clear by now.
or is it true what the dutch say about the people in belgium....

Use the reinvestment fund and buy 100,000 units of amhash3 and get 5% extra for free
Or literally do nothing like you have been and keep mismanaging the reinvestment funds.....

Havelock can you make them post up another vote on what to do with the reinvestment funds
The only sense to not use the reinvestment fund would be if btc price is going up and its flatlined

Ill gues ill start a fund for a bounty hunter that can bring us his finger, toe or head on a silver plate.

now silk road 2 is gone i have a couple of friends from there that have less "jobs" and spare time.
Fun for cheap prices. It's bound to be a better investment than this.

Try asking havelock the asset is still listed over there anyways might give you the contact info.
I'm sure they have the information unless their identification and screening process is broke
Recall something along the lines of we evaluate all asset orders and screen them before putting up the listings here etc.

Was trying to get a discussion on options before anything was forwarded, otherwise they will just give 3 shitty options to chose from.

1.  One time div, then no more reinvestment
2.  Buy more scrypt miners, what are the mining options right now for scrypt
3.  Buy more asic miners
4.  Keep doing nothing

Update! Smiley

Quote
We have received an offer for all our Scrypt hardware for the amount of 66.82402 BTC.

We like to issue a vote between our current 3 options:

1. We sell all the hardware for 66.82402 BTC and we issue a one time dividend. This one time dividend will consist of the reinvestment funds and the hardware sale. The total payout will be 201.35592221 BTC (134.53190221 + 66.82402) or 0.00684 BTC per share. After the dividend payout, Scrypt-X will be delisted from Havelock.

2. We sell all the hardware and we convert each Scrypt unit to 6 AMHash3 units. After the unit conversion, Scrypt-X will be delisted from Havelock.

3. We continue Scrypt-X with the current situation. This means, we keep mining with the Scrypt mine of 4 Gh/s and we continue to look out for interesting reinvestment opportunities.

Unit holders have until Thursday 18 December 2014 to place their votes (link in the email from Havelock).

So, I guess this is the end of this fund, let's wait for the results of the poll, but I think many people just wants an exit.

Mining is pretty much dead unless you have direct access to hardware production...

Was there a public offer for the hardware? I wonder who would've found the hardware to be worth 60+ btc in the current mining environment.

Edit: I guess what I'm thinking is, maybe crypto will find it portable to continue operating at their true operating cost

Dear Unit Holders,

First,

Update about this week's dividend payout:
We will pay 100% dividend this week because of the results of the vote (see below).

Calculation:
4.8435852348 BTC in total from converted altcoins
- 0.46637754 BTC as dividend (0.00001584 BTC/share)
- 4.37720769 BTC as hosting fee

Second,

Results of the vote:
57% of all weighted units have cast their vote:

- Payout a one time dividend from hardware sale and reinvestment funds: 44%
- Convert each Scrypt unit to 6 AMHash3 units: 46%
- Keep mining with the Scrypt mine: 10%

These results indicate that a vast majority of unit holders wants to either receive a one time dividend or convert their Scrypt units to AMhash3 units.

Therefore we will meet both options with the following scenario:

- We place a bid for Scrypt units of 0.00684 BTC during 1 week, ending on Friday 26th of December at 11:00 GMT. Unit holders have the opportunity to sell their units at this price until then.
- After this deadline, trading will be halted and all remaining Scrypt units will be converted to AMHash3 units. Converted units will automatically appear in your Havelock account. After the conversion, Scrypt will be delisted from Havelock.

Thank you,

Team CryptX

Nice, I'm glad there are two options here at the end.

Developer, entrepreneur, idea-seeker.
