Cryptocoin Revival Foundation's effort to revive Leafcoin

This coin is not applicable after all.

Cryptocoin Revival Foundation
Revives promising coins that have been deserted by their developers, but have strong communities supporting them. The foundation is non-profit and aims at increasing the reliability of the cryptocoin economy by providing a stronger basis for new coins. The foundation foremost offers technical assistance, but also wants to help the coins with marketing and communications. Read more about us at cryptocoinrevival.com.

Read about the organization in this original topic!

What the foundation wants to do for Leafcoin:
1. Create new github source that can be updated to be ad up-to-date as possible
2. Release new wallets.
3. Elect a new representative of the coin to run the communications.

First we need the following things:
1. Find out if there is actually a need for aid. We will have a poll to see if you agree to this selection.
2. Want to know what happened to the original developer.
3. Want to know about possible problems with the coin like a large premine or technical problems.

In a week we will decide if the coin is eligible.

Please respond below! Smiley

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Interesting idea, this coin used to be up around 30 sat on coinedup and other exchanges, hundreds of BTC of volume a day. Maybe it can get a second wind.

Revives promising coins that have been deserted by their developers

Please do your homework, this coin is not being deserted by the dev's .
Where do you get that info?

I see this as a cheap way of takingover(stealing) a coin and its community.

Remove from the list.

Thanks

let me be very clear on this:

i think your idea is nice however a revival procedure is already in progress.

you may help out on certain issues of the coin but a complete re-release of the wallet on github is something we wont allow and is not needed ( except for the heartbleed for which we have an update ).

the original developer ( me ) is not gone. you can see it like i am having a holiday currently ( as is stated on the original website ).

in a couple of weeks i will be back.

the problem is not coin software etc. the problem is sell walls and marketing + additional services need to be revived ( p2pool software, foundation and multibit, android ).

if you can help with these, sure, go ahead.. i can even provide you with problem descriptions and what i have done so far.

we have never been completely gone.

just very busy times at work etc.

Honestly, I'm not much into leafcoin, but if something had some issues, problems or simply died or was left alone, then why bother? There is plenty of other coins which are rather better atm. Good luck anyway and thx for the initiative!

I think this coin is not eligible then. It was elected in a vote, so we will just move on to the next coin. Smiley
