EDIT: I have closed this down, got it from a friend and no longer need it.

Thanks for the interest.

I am not sure if this loan will be fulfilled, as it is based solely off of my reputation, but I am looking for a 6 bitcoin loan.  I hate asking my friend for it, but if this gets a poor response I might have to.

Basically, I have orders in at coinbase for 2 btcs to be delivered this Friday the 9th, and 4 btcs to be delivered Monday the 12th.  The problem is, I would like those bitcoins now, as I need to do a few things with them.

So here is my offer, I can either repay the entire 6 bitcoins on Monday, or the 2 this Friday and the 4 on Monday. (By the end of the day)

I am asking for a 5.95 btc loan today, for 6 btc repaid in less than 6 days.  I am not sure what the APR comes out to on that, but if someone would like to calculate it be my guest.

I have nothing currently to offer as collateral, which is why I am not sure if anyone will take this loan based on rep alone.  I have somewhere around 100K Doge, and some invested btc.  But I have plenty of cash and a stable job, and since the bitcoin is already purchased from Coinbase (and the cash taken from my bank account) I am not worried about being able to repay this.  Can send pics of buys on coinbase if requested.

Please let me know if there is anyone interested.

Edit:  Dropped loan amount to 5.9 bitcoin loaned and will return the 6 bitcoin next Monday.

Ok hi, I know you are a hero member and all, a good history,  and I'm 99% sure that you will pay back, but this is setting a horrible example for the newbies out here chilling in the lending section :/  So I just had to post that Grin

I appreciate your opinion, and I could not agree with you more.  In fact, I have left feedback on many threads with similar warnings (albeit only on new accounts).  I guess my thought process was, any serious new account will be like I was.  This is my first time asking in the loan section for a loan.  Been into bitcoin for many years, had this account for a little less time than that, and this is my first instance in trying to get a loan.  I knew never to ask before this, and I would hope that a new account would have the same mindset, if not, they are usually labeled as scammers, and for good reason.  One has to go through hoops to get trust, also for good reason.

Now, I am still looking for the loan, and will be for a few more hours until I just ask my business partner for it (still trying to avoid that as I would rather not have that between us).  If someone is kind enough to help me out, I will only ask for 5.9, and repay the 6 bitcoin, thereby increasing the amount earned for a 6 day loan.  If you have smaller amounts, they will also be considered (although I would prefer to have at least 2 or 3 btc per loaner).

Thanks,

DebitMe

I'd cover some of the loan if I had the funds on hand, but all my funds are tied into mining hardware and expansion.
Best of luck man.

Thank you for the interest/thought.  Hopefully someone will see an easy/risk free tenth of a bitcoin and jump on it.

Also, not that it matters as the funds are covered by buys on coinbase, but if someone grants the loan, I will share what I want to use the funds for.

On my last post I upped it to 5.9 loaned for a 6 btc return, which is a tenth. Smiley  Should probably update the main thread.

I think what he meant was 6 bitcoins is a lot to lend for only a 0.1btc return.  It doesn't really matter whether the term is for a couple days or a couple months - you still have equal chance to lose all your coins.   Undecided

I am open to suggestions of the lender.  If they do not feel like that return is enough, anyone may state their offer.  I will not be budging by much, but if something peaks my interest we could possibly negotiate.

I would be willing to throw 25K Doge in up front once the money has been transferred.  That's another about .025

I'm pretty sure this is a loan -_-.  The thing that people are questioning is why there is no collateral.  The OP knows that this is a loan request, I am sure Smiley

Of course it was a loan, and there was no collateral offered.  Doesn't matter now, went to my friend and he is giving it to me interest free.

Thanks for the replies though.

Take care.
