Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

As much carnage as there was, it still makes me want to hold some funds on bitcoinica, just to go 2:1 long after any 15% drop.

Lost $46.00. I had just bought 100 btc at what I thought it was at the bottom.

Then she tanked, and panicked sold.  With the little profits I made before, down to $27 net.

Glad I am just playing small amount. At 1000 BTC that would of been a very bad loss.

Z forgot to account for the greedy-motherfucker variable.

quite!  Grin

margin trading is the greed variable, it creates greed, it literally shouts GREED IS GOOD !

Despite this I will honour my debt, although I would hope that they can find a way to prevent the account balance from going negative

thanks for the comforting words.

Time to ask for a fee rollback from Mt Gox...for the rest of the Month.

They screwed over too many people for too much money with ineptness.

I am sincerely sorry you lost so much.  But, yeah, bitcoinica has added an extraordinary amount of risk to something that is already extraordinarily risky.  I got tempted in to try it out and lost the very small amount I put in.  I'm sorry for anyone who lost significant amounts.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

ITS K GUYS ITS GOING UP AGAIN YOU CAN SEE THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL NOW!

It's going back up, but that depth chart shows a long empty plain on the bid side.

How long before sentiment becomes bullish again?

Liquidation at $6.61? WTF were you thinking?!?  The market had gone under that mark many times in the past days.
