a little help with hashrate

Hi

I have a few HIS ATI 5850 cars in a few computers and i wonder what is the best way to get more hashrate out of them? i guess people will say use MSI afterburner but i have a problem, when i start MSI afterburner i cant change the voltage, i have done the config like below but still cant change it, i have also clicked the unlock in the settings, so what am i doing wrong ?

Since you're stealing "borrowing without permission" electricity from your school (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=60120.msg699968#msg699968) there's really not much need for excessive finesse:

GPU core clocks? Maximum stable. Use increments of 20.
Memory clocks? Lowest not impacting your mining speed, most likely 300.
Voltage? Some additional voltage might allow you to overclock higher but leave it for now.
Concentrate on finding maximum stable gpu core clock.

N/A, skipped the "borrowing" part for now because of the "request" problem :/

how much hashrate would i gain on fideling with the coreclock and memory ? enough to bother with it ?

edit:
i changed the settings to run core clock 1000 and memory 400 to gain about 35-45+ in hashrate, is that good or can i do anything else?

1000 on the GPU? Thats pretty high for a 5850, but if its stable, be happy.

I havent noticed any problems so far, it's running a hashrate of 420~ish right now under CGminer with these settings

Just do mind the core temperature k?
You don't want to fry those cards.

Drop that memclock it is just wasting electricity and producing heat.

300 should be possible, you may find you can go even lower.

Ive never gotten more than ~375 out of any of my 5850s for longer than an hour, so assuming your temps are under control, be happy.

agreed,  i get 365 out of the 5850's.  or even the 6950's for that matter.

since my last post i have kept the same settings i said above, the fan runs at about 70~% but the temp on the card is just around 75~ all the time
