Since so many people are asking. There is a 2000 BOST reward for the first person to write detailed instructions for mining X13 BoostCoin, this must include example .bat files for popular cards and also any performance tweaks that can be used.

Using BAMT 1.6.2 running it with 2- Sapphire Radeon HD 6850, pushing 2MH/s when running it on Darkcoin kernel.

Hi Guys,
I am having strange issue with SuperNova. X11 works fine but when i start this, It says waiting for work to be available from pool and then it crashes with an error..... Anyone else seen this issue?

Are u using the latest sph sgminer with -k marucoin ?

This crash usually happens when x13 algo is not available in sgminer

I got this issue too.I use the latest sgminer.on my HD5850 rigs, some can run,some got this issue...I don't know  why

Same issue as the above posters. Using the latest X13 miner in the original post, using a bat file. Not working. Is there any solution to this?

strange, it work for me i just used this with a shortcut AFTER running a bat file(with the same settings) first

try only this -g 4 -I 13

there is a bug in that miner version, it force you to use a bat file first, before using a shortcut or whatever way you want to use

create a bat and type this inside it, i'm getting 1600 KH/s per gpu(280x), nothing else

sgminer.exe -k marucoin -o stratum+tcp://boost.suprnova.cc:3311 -u  -p  -g 4 -I 13

worked fine on x11 config aslong as you change darkcoin for marucoin and get sgminer 4.1.0

Make sure to have -k marucoin in your .bat file


Make sure to reference : https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison for .config files applicable to your hardware - you may have to experiment a bit until you find the right one for you as slightly different models of the same GPU behave differently.

Increase the Intensity to 15 atleast... Also, remove the TC. Your GPU is newer than mine and I push it at 17 Intensity. 985 core 1000 mem 17 intensity. My gpus sit at about 65c

we are all getting same force closing , i have 270 using batfile instead of config i'm getting 800kh on my 270 here is the batfile

Short instructions on how to mine x13 BOOST

1. Download latest edition of sph-sgminer from following thread:

2.Unzip in folder of your choice, example: "sph-sgminer"

3.In "sph-sgminer" (or any other name you gave to it) folder create MINEBOST.bat file.
How to: first create a text file, and then rename it.

WINDOWS HINT: In windows Disable "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options in order to change .txt to .bat.

4. right click MINEBOST.bat and choose edit now copy paste following text depending on your GPU

7870/270X: GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 .\sgminer\sgminer  -k marucoin -o <YOUR POOL>:<POOL PORT> -u <user> -p <password> -I 19 -g 4 -w 128

7950/7970/280X: GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100.\sgminer\sgminer  -k marucoin -o <YOUR POOL>:<POOL PORT> -u <user> -p <password> -I 20  -g 4 -w 128

290/290X: GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 .\sgminer\sgminer  -k marucoin -o <YOUR POOL>:<POOL PORT> -u <user> -p <password> -I 22  -g 4 -w 128

5. Double Click MINEBOST.bat, allow sgminer to pass through windows firewall.
