For what it`s worth: I have a 100MH X11 contract since 2 weeks and so far I am very happy with it. Don`t know whether I will ROI (in BTC), but I think I have a fair chance and an attractive risk-reward profile from a rock solid company.

As for "scam": I personally know 6 people working in the company and literally everyone of them is a great and honest individual and a good friend. Those guys are long time Bitcoin Pro`s. I have a hard time imagining a better team. I am actually rather sceptical towards mining as an investment, in BTC terms, and I have mined in the past, but I wanted to give it a shot and this is for me 100% the one and only cloudmining operation I`d pick, as it is the only one I`m absolutely sure is not a scam or ponzi or whatever shit there is around.

Biggbox,

GM's 5 day money back guarantee is worded at the top of this page. I don't think you'll be refunded if you've had a contract beyond 5 days. However if you are a US citizen and feel that you are a victim of fraud by GM, I encourage you to contact:

What did you do to invoke the refund policy? Is there a clause that allow you to do that? I wonder will this discussion be removed.

There is no clause, except the 5 day moneyback guaranteed... if you are not happy with the service, you will get a full refund minus the earned coins...

Well I am afraid to state that from the last two days I have been receiving dust payouts from my 10 MH/s x11 contract.

I was receiving genuine payouts  of around 0.001 btc until recently I am receiving dusts of around 0.00001 btc Huh

Please resolve this.

Thats defo not right. My last payout for 1 MH/s BTC (AUTO) was 0.00018646 BTC so you should have had 0.00186  BTC at least.

Questions to Marco Streng :

Why do you sometimes post with your ZetaOS profile and sometimes with your Genesis Mining profile ? Do you have other accounts ?

I want to invest in Genesis-mining but I am not very sure how it works. When you invest in a one year contract, do you get your principle back after the expiry of the contract?

Hi Babs, i have a one year contract with X11 and how it works is that you pay for the hashpower for a year and then that hashpower is used to mine coins.
After a year it will stop so it is the mined coins that you get back in a year that will determine if you have made a profit or a loss.

They can not give the principle back as the money you pay upfront is for purchasing hashpower for a year and that hashpower is tied to a graphics card which is being reserved to you for a whole year.

Ian thanks for your explanation.

Each difficulty change affects the payout and as BTC price is not really changing much at each difficulty change then the amount you get is less and less.
I see it too with my payouts and there is not much that can be done about it.

BTC is slowly dropping, next difficulty change in 6 days will mean the end of most (if not all?) SHA256 contracts with Genesis-mining. There will be much grinding of teeth.

How much can UNO can a 51 GH/s SHA256 contract mine per day? Since my contract is nearly dead due to the price of BTC and the diff. rise, I was wondering if I could switch to UNO or ZET mining, and convert my mined coins into BTC?

It will not make a difference as the fee is for the SHA256 hashpower so all you are doing is mining another SHA 256 coin and the fee you pay each day is not just for mining Bitcoin, it is covering the cost of the mining itself, so your payouts will still be low because they will just remove the fee from the UNO or Zetacoin payouts instead.

So if you look to see how profitable Zetacoin or UNO is and then take away the fee, you will still be left with a little.

What i would do is check a site like coinwarz to see what you can get each day and then detract the fee from it.

I ran my contract details though coinwarz, and it came out saying that mining Zeta is nearly 300% more profitable than bitcoin.

Did I do something wrong? Or is that really true? Anyway, for my calculation, "Watts" was actually my Gh/s, and "$/kWh" was the rate GM charges daily for each GH/S.

Tongue Did something wrong. I have the correct formula: Run your contract hashrate through that, without the electricity fees, then subtract 0.0012 * Hashrate USD in the end. That will be your daily profit in USD, right?  Grin
