So what's happening with FTC?

I asked them this directly and had an answer this morning.

It will be mined using the most profitable scrypt coins each day and you will be paid out in FTC.
They will label it as FTC (AUTO). It hasn't been updated yet on the mining allocation page, but it will be.

This is similar to what happened with RDD coin as when that became only POS, that was renamed to RDD (AUTO)

Hope this helps some of you anyway.

Update: We have now renamed FTC to FTC (Auto) in the mining allocation interface. Internally we have automatically switched pure FTC mining to auto mining directly as it changed its PoW algorithm from scrypt to neoscrypt.

There seems a clear upward trend on FTC (https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/btce/ftcbtc). Maybe an opportunity? What do you think?

Have fun mining FTC on Auto!

So if you could clarify.

Yesterday i got 57.63966226 FTC with 26MH
And today i got 26.28709490 FTC.

So i get less ftc now since you changed it to auto.

Looks like that Smiley

FTC was probably pretty good to mine on its own. But now it has changed the algorithm, it is time to stop I think.

FTC changed algorithm so now you can not mine it directly using Scrypt.

FTC (Auto) means that each day all of the most profitable Scrypt coins you mine on GM are traded for FTC each day.

wow im only getting a hair over 100 doge / MH on genesis now. wonder if project x will end up being like this  Roll Eyes

POM, to be honest, what you should be doing is finding out how many doge you could buy if you just left it running on AUTO BTC at the moment.

Here is my 1 MH/s payout for AUTO BTC. 0.00019177

So just multiply that by the amount of MH you have.

Go to an exchange, enter in the figure of BTC that you would have got and see how many doge you would get back per 1 MH.

I just did that to see, I went to Bittrex, put in the amount of BTC, Doge was selling at 71 SAT, I got around 260 doge with my BTC, so that is more than double what you are getting mining it directly.

Ian

thats answers the question if they are auto btc then buying i guess

this is turning into hashtalk. why is no one wondering why we are getting .00019177 per mhs??? this is about 1/3 of a regular multipool. seriously they could point this hash at multipool.us and get damn near 3 X what we are getting. how can the payouts drop like 70% in a month when payouts from all multipools didnt? ... blah blah blah ...

Wow, look here: all sorts of multipool payouts per MH's: http://cryp.today

Multipool.us paid 0.00022030 today, 0.00022399 yesterday and 0.0032629 the day before. According to you that is 3x what we are getting?! Right...
If you deduct all (power)costs for mining at home it's damn near half of what GM paid Wink
