Dnote is added to Genesis Mining  Smiley
Deeplink on genesis mining about coin info is broken so for the time: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/5706-dnotes-note-information/

DNOTES NOTE

Wow! You guys are really fast   Grin

Well... yes Dnotes was added to the mineable coins this morning. We hope you enjoy the new coin!

Next up on our list is a sha coin: BitcoinDark or UNO. Both will be integrated for sure; we just have not yet decided with which one we will start.

For scrypt we are looking into a new coin that "thinks outside".

Cheers, Marco

what time GM daily pay out??

just curious...

thanks
Payment is done within 24 hours after a mining day in UTC time! So, no fixed time, just somewhere within those 24 hours. Technically two payments can be 48 hours apart and still be right on time  Wink

Umm.... Can I vote for UNO  Tongue

What do you have in mind? Some extra threads within bitcointalk or a separate Genesis Mining forum?

Not quite. "Think outside the Banks" is the slogan on their webpage. The coin looks interesting and has a vibrant community.

But before that we will push a sha coin (yes, Mike we know your preference :-)

I must protest! I have not said a word  Wink

Adding a SHA256 coin other then Bitcoin for cloud mining is a first time. Large scale cloud mining anyway. It clearly shows (yet again) Genesis Mining is all about cryptocurrency mining in it's purest form:  hashing power for various blockchains out there, or in case of unsupported algorithms, buying power for various coins through trading. Genesis Mining matters greatly for the crypto-community and goes well beyond "mining for profit".

There. Now I've said a word Tongue

Hi there Smiley
I have two questions about GM because  I'm a total newbie in all of this Cheesy
1. What altcoin would be the most profitable to mine at GM in your opinion?
2. If I,for example, mine Dogecoin and Megacoin,do I need both of these wallets or I am going to get paid in BTC on my BTC adress?

1 Good question, is different each day.  Auto BTC seems the best preference.

2, Yes you need a wallet for the coin you want to mine, so go to cryptsy and you have instant lot of wallets for each coin.
You get paid in the coins you want to mine.  Auto BTC, will pay in bitcoin.

I gotta be honest...I don't trust GAW one bit.

They sit there and claim they have the highest paying pool out there (Zenpool) which makes great payouts all the way up until a ton of people buy into the company....then suddenly each MH only pays out 1 satoshi after maintenance fees.

So people complain and what happens? Josh makes up some BS about negotiations with some other companies....

People buy it for a certain amount of time.

And when nothing comes of it?

He announces some BS pre-mined altcoin that he promises will go to the moon within a year after its release....so he has all these sheep mining "hashpoints" which essentially means he has all these people buying tons of "hashing power" without having to pay them back a single cent.

I gotta be honest, he's a marketing genius. With all these "legendary" and special addition hashlets......extra money for a hopped up version of the idea of a miner...he's absolutely making a killing off of stupid people.

I'm sorry if this seems like bashing, but I just cant stand it anymore. I like to visit hashtalk just to watch all the cheerleading and people sucking up to earn "hashpoints"....and to see that anybody who doesn't follow the trend of sucking up to Josh get BANNED on the spot.

I find it hilarious to see the MONSTROUS amounts of scrypt power and sha power that he claims to be selling to people not show up on the network anywhere.

I would avoid GAW, eventually that ponzi is going to fall and a lot of people are going to lose a lot of money.

Probably solved by now as the 0.0001 is likely a transaction fee for the network (which you should pay!) and GM received the exact right amount

I could not agree with you more. The whole thing to me is very suspect that they're able to give away free miners while making record profits everyday.

You make a good point that Josh must be a fantastic marketer, I myself am in advertising and there's a saying that people love nothing more than free stuff and deals/discounts. Under normal consumer habits they dont care how bad the product is so long as its free.

There's no doubt in my mind that GAW is one massive ponzi-like scheme and when the pool runs dry it's going to implode like a super nova.

This is the Genesis Mining Forum thread, where we talk about the awesomeness that is Genesis Mining.

The GAWSpiracy thread is somewhere else.

PS.  Very Happy with the Dnote addition.

This has to do with genesis as well because I am comparing both of them. Im not here to strictly hate on GAW. Well after 3 days I will tell you what I think about their service. When you login it gives you a dashboard error because it redirects to something else. So you have to manually go in and type the dashboard url after it does this. The admin part of the site is broken. I dont mind this because I can get around it after a few seconds. My problem is the pay outs. They paid me 9 cents yesterday then took 9 cents out in fees. Im trying all the popular cloud mining services for learning purposes so I am not biased towards any certain one. Genesis has been doing 99% better than GAW though at the start of their contracts. Thats for sure. I have pulled in 1 penny with GAW in the last 3-4 days and 40 cents with genesis. those profits are super far off from each other lol

There's a thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=860400.0 that compares different cloudmining companies, specifically on how probable it is they are a ponzi scheme. I pointed out Genesis-mining qualified for not being a ponzi on one of the critria, e.a. pictures of their mining hardware being available. As a consequence Genesis-mining is now rated 'probably legit' hehe.
