Hey, I can't say enough about how much your donation (and everyone's) has helped make this event possible. Without everyone's support we'd just be 2 guys standing around talking about digital currencies. Thanks to the community we now have: business cards, t-shirts, flyers, Vericoin - it's really awesome!

I am working on finding a film crew that would be willing to come and invest some of their time/energy for next to nothing =p If we can't get a professional video crew - we'll go guerrilla on the situation and just use smartphone or something.

I'll keep everyone posted as we approach the event.

If there is anyone that thinks that altcoinUK is pro-vericoin. Think again, he trolls this forum regularly and is definitely an alt of someone else who used to troll here. He does not care about vericoin or the devs who he has disrespected on many occasions. If you go far back into his troll history you will see that. Of course he will go back now and delete his posts lol. Do not listen to his opinions as I and many of us here are working to bring vericoin more publicity. I show my family about btc and vrc because its easier to explain btc first and then go into how you can use vrc with the benefits of faster transaction times and interest on your coin. Every time I take my dog for a walk I take a different route and put the verileaders flyers in mailboxes as I go. I take the time I do not have to contribute the most I can, unfortunately I have not had time to keep up with my rumor mill portal lol, because I am actually working on something better. I work 14 hours a day. I am def not a kid although I would like to be one again. Do not lose confidence in Vericoin or even sellout your coins at the best buy price so far. You only lose if you sell and honestly I have pure silver as my long term investment, short term is crypto and I rather go big or go home. We have a great community except for a few trolls which is the reason I created the FUD list so we can have a new monthly winner to add to our blocklist, and eventually serve as a reference on who to trust and who to not. If you like me love this coin then careful who you trust because manipulators are everywhere looking to buy your cheap sell order so they can sell on even small margins.

Well, actually not that's how the card payment schemes work. The payment service provider roll out the VISA credit/debit card. Coinsis is the payment service provider. This card is legit, the card is VISA card, no doubt about that. The idea is hopeless and again it's a fucking fantasy and delusion about worldwide mass adopt theme.

I hope the assholes start to buy this shit and I can start to dump on them.

PS- Short term for me is 5-10 years, not swing trading although I do play with 200 bucks at a time and all the profit I make always goes back into my vrc wallet

Great idea Lootz....what i really want is a blue sticker 3-4 inches around or square with Vericoin on it(simple blue background with Vericoin in white) and a big QR code to the vericoin.info site. There could be some slogans on them like "Bank of Your Name!", "Control Your Wealth!", "More then just money!", "Power in your hands", etc.

My city has a very large concentration of bank buildings and financial institutions, one sticker and a photo would do wonders for marketing. Bank of blank with Vericoin sticker on the front door posted on the internet!

well why should crypti say the opposite? Ofc they say they will skyrock.
Take your time and read everything you can get for both coins. 10 btc is quiet a bit for most people.

I would just take a look at both coins maybe even more and then decide which coin looks more promising to me on the longterm.
If somebody tells you "Our coin is the best it's going to explode, all the other coins are bad and scam" you should really question to what kind of people you are talking to.

Take your time.

The high was 58k looked to be in another run the mintpal got hacked and  8m coins were stolen and they rolled back the coin.  The developers are very transparent very helpful.  They do have lives and can't focus on the coin 24-7 but they have strengthen the security and have been working on implementing new features there is a roadmap of what they are looking to do.  They have a direction and a plan but it's taken a while and in crypto you know that can lead to a beating.  I feel though with the passion of the developers this coin has a chance to be at least a top 5 but that's my opinion.  I'm no expert though.

I'll add on to this.  I think the devs are in it for the long haul.  So, although development is slow at times, it's still steady and you don't have worry about them disappearing into the night.

Yes it most likely was pumped at that time, I bought in at 33ish-k, I believe we are at the floor with 8k maybe 7.5k. but that is my opinion. I mean the fact that I am selling my spare rims on my car to buy more at around 8k doesnt mean I am rite. No one can predict what will happen. I am also mining the veripool atm because the payouts are a lot nicer at these low prices.
