lol, what a joke. I bought VRC specifically to participate in the ICO and it sells out before I even know it started. lol

Sold my VRC and still made profit, too many coins out there to bother with one that operates like this.

I read the last page and all I see is speculation about this being a scam. Who knows, maybe you did me a favor. Expensive icos always crash. Probably cheaper to buy after ico anyways.

Operates like this = doing exactly what we said we would do in the announcement? We said there was a limit of 350,000 VRM sold in the first phase. It sold out very fast.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I don't have a screenshot of the ANN I read, but I don't really care. I dumped your shitcoin and am on to the next shitcoin. No big deal. See ya.

Hope it works out well for you and the few people who were lucky enough to get in. Left a bad taste in my mouth, and from the last few pages of content I would say there are more people unhappy than happy. Good luck with phase 2. lol

Twitter is a mess of shills about vrc/vrm

If the idea was to pump the marketing and promoting would of been a whole lot better...lol
If the idea was to get rich they wouldn of released more then 350,000
If the idea was to get all the VRC it wouldn't of been a cap

If you and others would have done 20 minutes of searching instead of running from coin to coin you would of been more educated to the process.

But it's easy to say scam pump shill

@pnosker In the event I made a couple of payments to my ICO swap address; I know that the 1st one would have been in time but don't know about the 2nd, which was included in block 1273446. Would that have made the cut, as it were?

Thanks.

I can't verify it right now, but roughly 13,000 VRC were sent after the first phase closed and will be pushed to the second phase. I don't have access to the ICO info right now but if you send an email to vericoin@vericoin.info we can take a look for you.

That's because this coin has great developers and good principles.  The problem is this coin has no promotion at times its hard to see there vision cause there so bright and excited that they get to technical it's hard for the laymen (me) to truly grasp.  As a coin and the transmission of currency it's better then Bitcoin.  They now have improved the coin and are going to tie it to a mineable crypto commodity.

With the ICO yesterday a stress test on 2million coins moving confirmations was lighting quick in a few minutes everything was confirmed and good to go.  In the two years I've held this coins I have made 3,000 coins of interest better then any bank.

call me a shill but after two years I see myself as a believer in people and technology

What kind of false promises are you talking about? Manipulators are going to manipulate. They manipulate everything, including Bitcoin. It's an unfortunate effect of an unregulated market.

I have no sympathy for people who missed the ICO. The countdown site was up for a week. Most that are complaining are traders bummed they missed an opp at cheap VRM. I see this as a LT investment. If you want to get in do your research, know what you're getting into and follow the directions laid out for the ICO.

Been following this team/community for 2+ years and am happy I've stuck with VRC. I can appreciate Doug and Pat's "put your nose to the ground and get shit done by developing new tech" mentality and think it is a refreshing contrast to a lot of the egomaniacs in the crypto space. On top of this, they are innovating and sticking to what they know, blockchains with a cash/commodity purpose. I'm a big fan of KISS and taking your time to get things correct the first time and this team is the epitome of that mentality.

Yes, that's the one
It relies on various forms of taint analysis to aggregate multiple addresses in the same wallet.
The figures given are thus under-estimation, ie. the actual wallets probably hold more worth than listed, and smaller wallets or individual addresses could actually be part of a larger wallet.

I feel bad cause that means they had interest.  As a community it's our job to get the casual interested person informed. Gotnto get away from the cult followers mentality

ok i think i get it. But that still doesn't answer the question I've been asking myself. Did my VRC Coins make it in time for round 1?

Yes, they had interest. But we made it very clear how the ICO would work a month in advance. We had a timer site up for a week. It's not like we just randomly started it and boom it ended. People that invest in stuff like digital currency need to do their own due diligence.
