I'm trying to send Vericoin to a wallet from the Vericoin wallet, but I'm having some issues. It's saying that I've exceeded the amount that I have available. I've disabled staking, but it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me out with this?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

If you are sending the full amount in the wallet, you'll need to deduct the mining fee. I'm not sure what Vericoin charges but it should tell you the cost of sending. |

I haven't heard any news, it can be an dump-pump organization by whales. But i use poloniex and 24 hour high price is 25000, where did u see 70000 ?

Take a look on Bittrex! Anyway this organized pump filled my sell orders too then...Well done whales! Thanks for sharing this! Actually, if you do a little research, you will notice that volume, and price, have been more or less steadily raising for the last month or so right along with a good portion of the market. |

You can even see rich list , millions of coins with no staking. so most likely pump and dump. But pump and dump isn't a bad thing, that's what create attention. Now I got to know VeriCoin. And as soon as price goes back to 0.2, I'll buy 10K coins and start staking  |

I have a problem with my wallet.
It is the latest version.
I have synced it from scratch with no problems. I received interest last week.
Everything was working.
Now it acts like crazy. Yesterday I received interest but never confirms.
It says synced, after a while it says e.g. 200 blocks back, then says synced, then says 90 blocks back and stays there.
I close and open the wallet and same thing happens.
Interest is always unconfirmed. 1 confirmation.
What can I do?
EDIT: I have checked in block explorer and yesterday's interest is not there.
EDIT 2: I have started the wallet with -rescan but it didn't fix anything.
EDIT 3: I have clicked reload blockchain. It finished. It shows synced and now it shows yesterday's interest as generated but not accepted and my total coins as 0. If I go to history I see my correct balance.
EDIT 4: rescanned wallet and now it seems it's OK.

Thanks for that link, was a good read.. I hate when people use the term "scam" with pn'd's, I don't participate in them "knowingly" but they are not scams as long as it is a good project they bring attention to and not just some new anon/ditching dev sh!tcoin. besides no body forces anyone to chase a pump, but people get mad a blame the coin instead of the fact that they made a bad call to chase the all time highs etc. I posted a shot of trex's graph a few hours after the initial spike on the CCC beginners group, trying to tell people to not chase it but that it is a great project and some one removed it for some reason any who what is going on with Polo's VRC wallet there is a warning on it... while Bittrex doesn't (I even did a test send from trex to my own wallet and like always it showed up in no time at all) |

Of course you can, but you have to be wise (experienced, lucky...) enough to anticipate when to buy/sell. Best thing that works for me is not being (too) greedy.

I'm just happy all my little sells got filled, If for example I have 200 coins on an exchange I'll only be trading about 50 of them near the current average price and the rest I break up and put much higher on the sell wall for unexpected special occasions like we had the other day  last thing I ever expected was to wake up and find my sell at 70k to be filled, now I still have the same amount of VRC trading but my staking wallet is that much bigger  I use the same technique on every coin I trade/hold... every once and a while I wake up to a happy surprise. any word on why Poloniex has the warning they do up?? just Polo playing their games? |

I would advise anyone trading to move to Bittrex If you can't withdraw VRC from Poloniex, you may try to sell for BTC, and send BTC to bittrex and buy VRC again. Do not forget to always withdraw a very little amount of coins for testing purpose before withdrawing a large amount. |
