Hi
i did remove stacking option and let it run all night but this morning still nothing
very strange here....
Turning off staking does not immediately free up coins, that will just prevent future coins from being staked (until you turn it back on). The coins in question will free up after the new interest received has 510 confirmations. You can check in the history how many confirms the new interest has, once it hits 510, your coins will be freed up once again.

My Vericoin wallet had been running just fine and then for some reason it will no longer sync the block chain? It says I have peer connections but I can leave it running for hours and hours and it just gets further and further behind Any suggestions?

I attempted to reload the blockchain and when asked I opted to not use the local copy and then downloaded the bootstrap. I still have the same issue as it sync's up to block 1834059 and then will not sync past that block. Also, after just attempting to reload the blockchain my coins are now showing zero where before I had a batch of them. I'm on Windows 10 with wallet version 1.6.5.5 and I currently show 7 active connections. Anything else I can try I really need to get this thing back up as it was staking before this issue.

I think my one of my wallets is part of that 10% never gaining a connection. Anything I can do about that?
I rescanned, reloaded, restart the wallet. Nothing. Only thing I haven't done is start it on another computers.

my founds are stucks under staking (unavelable) even stopping the stacking option, scan wallet etc etc, still my founds are not available...... i have 2 transaction as interest pending of 501 confirmation and sorry but it takes just forever! i think that is the cause why i cant free up my actual balance...... sad because am missing important trades....................
i had very trust in vericoin but this wallet is just a scam...... when you need the founds back you just cant......

If you have no connections in wallet follow this guide http://resources.vericoin.info/category/technical-support-files/
VeriCoin 1.7 wallet is nearing completion, with fixes to wallets stats, connection issues. The next update will include PoST 2.0 which will prevent the recent fork issues due to large coin age/staking wallets. VeriCoin 2.0 will be upgrading core code to the latest Bitcoin Core code. Verium will also get the updated Bitcoin Core code.

5-10 mins , file > reload blockchain will speed this up. There is bug currently in the GUI that will show the blocks going the wrong way. Make sure you have connections, if not follow this guide http://resources.vericoin.info/category/technical-support-files/ As for resources you can control that with the amount of threads. It defaults to one less core/thread then available so you aren't using everything for mining. Come join us in our slack https://vericoinandveriuminvite.herokuapp.com/

I bet Vericoin will be delisted form poloniex because volume is vanishing and community is very unactive.
So I think holding VRC is suicid

lol....okay so Polo is going to delist 50% of their exchange then? Because we are in the middle of the pack in volume. The crypto market as a whole is shrinking and crashing. Community is very active over 1100+ people in our slack channel. 10k+ twitter followers, etc. Developers are working hard and will continue to, take your FUD somewhere else.

And I think you are as goofy as your name... Good luck with that prediction and, please, learn to spell if you are going to use English.

awesome news, I've always just grabbed the list of nodes from the blockexplorer and always get 20+ connections. I'll keep my eye's open for the update as long as people don't chase the price up during a climb then VRC has always been a solid buy for me... like any good project "BTFD" (Buy the F*cking Dips) or even if it's running flat, you only burn yourself when you chase a coins price above their averages. Cheers to the VRC/VRM team

Does anybody know why VRC is traded at one dollar on Jubi? Why don't people arbitrage?
Is there anybody from China who can explain it?

Junbi people know what sleeping giant Vericoin is, truely it always has been. Vrc is like the decred in its bear cycle. Be patient and you win. Jubi people can go to Poloniex and buy tons of cheap VRC. Then go to Jubi and sell it, then go to Poloniex and buy more. Why don't they do that? There is some information that VRC wallet is disabled on Jubi and looks like some people just manipulate the price there.
