I have a vericoin paper wallet that somebody gave me about three years ago. I want to import it to a wallet where I can see the coin and send it. I prefer not to install the desktop wallet because I'm not a computer whiz and I don't have endless hours at my disposal to struggle through the learning curve. I already extracted the wallet to my desktop, which runs galliumos, poked around and decided to look for an easier way. There's supposed to be an Android wallet but I searched the Play Store and couldn't find anything. If there is an Android wallet I'd appreciate a direct link to the Play Store or an APK or whatever. And can you import private keys to the Android wallet?
I know that both the mobile apps are in the works, for both ios and android. Currently to date, they are not released.

I know that both the mobile apps are in the works, for both ios and android. Currently to date, they are not released. Then I have to install vericoin for the desktop. The install file says this: Building VeriCoin
See doc/readme-qt.rst for instructions on building VeriCoin QT, the intended-for-end-users, nice-graphical-interface, reference implementation of VeriCoin.
See doc/build-*.txt for instructions on building vericoind, the intended-for-services, no-graphical-interface, reference implementation of VeriCoin. So in order to have the wallet do I need to build VeriCoin QT or vericoind? Or is it necessary to build both?

VeriCoin 1.7 wallet is nearing completion, with fixes to wallets stats, connection issues. The next update will include PoST 2.0 which will prevent the recent fork issues due to large coin age/staking wallets. VeriCoin 2.0 will be upgrading core code to the latest Bitcoin Core code. Verium will also get the updated Bitcoin Core code.
Will it not be a fat, slow, bloated pig when loading? It takes several minutes just to get to the unlock screen.

Dear VeriCoin/Verium community, first of all. I am relatively new in the blockchain world. I started investing in 2013, sold BTC when I needed money (never do this) and now I am back in started in June. I recently crossed these coins during my evaluation of several Top 300 Coins/companies. This Company and projects looks really solid. The idea of eliminating each disadvantage of the respective PoW and PoS methods is very smart. At the same time it's not only eliminating each disadvantage it's also creating opportunities. I would call it even a healthy fusion/symbiosis. Sadly this project is lacking of any marketing. I love the fact the developers and also the community is focussed on development and support, but at some point you might start showing your precious jewel. Be proud what you have achieved already and start doing your marketing. It is important even if you think it is just for the hype. Look at Stratis. It is a really mature and solid project, but they also lack of marketing. Now they are falling behind, because they don't attract any new investors. How do you see this guys? Also this reddit sub seems very quiet contrary to bitcointalk, where the community seems more active.

This community seems not very active. Is there an active slack channel, where all the magic is happening?

If would agree... The community here does seem pretty dead... There was a hodl group pump vrm couple weeks back which raised the price of both vrm and vrc but then most dumped right away... If this community of believers and actual holders would do simmilar marketing on Twitter and Facebook we could see the same rise without a dump.....

I think it's quite sad, that they don't show what they have achieved. It's a great project with a great idea. I understand that for a true dev it's more about the ideology and contributing freely to a passionated project. I got this. It's like having a talent but you don't use it at a full extend.
Just my view of this project.

Ok, so we all bought tons of cheap VRC, what's next? I really liked it how the dev team was all quite during this BTC rally and kept all cards for when it's finally over. I am really looking forward to seeing VRC do a DGB kind of run.

Hello,
Appreciate a quick summary help
Interested and starting to mine Verium, got the wallets VeriCoin which I guess is to receive coins for the Verium Vault which I see it is used for mining, right?
Now how to mine from different computers? Do I have to install the VeriumVault on all? thanks
