This update is backwards compatible.

Try this,

Dump everything in your .vericoin directory except wallet.dat and a vericoin.conf file with

addnode=107.170.99.191
addnode=107.170.140.210

These are our supernodes

and load the vericoind

I pulled yesterday & setup the pool.

There were quite a bit of pending blocks.

After todays update, the pending blocks are now gone.

I'm not understanding why that is the case with the last update.

Do I need to update the wallet for the pool?

The only update was two checkpoints, one PoS checkpoint and one PoW checkpoint.

With the current level of staking, the total supply will be approximately 28,307,145 coins rather than 50,000,000.

The total amount of coins minted after PoW ends isn't known quite yet but the calculations right now show 28,159,388 coins. With the high amount of coins staked it's looking more and more like the total supply will be just under 28 million total.
