Dev there are still major issues with Wallet V 1.1, it seems to only happen when coins are staking. Stuck on block 23002

Try restarting the client, with so little staking, the network is not very continuous at the moment.

I still have issues with the wallet as well.

To fix go to user/appdata/roaming/vericoin delete everything but wallet and veri.conf. Rerun wallet and it should sync. I do have do that alot tho with this coin.

So Cryptsy?

Firstly--- Make a Back up of your present wallet.dat

Go to http://www.vericoin.info/ and download the appropriate wallet update. This is mandatory.

It is essential U R using 1.1. If u r U will C "1.1" below the coin icon when your wallet is loading. If U don't C it your r not using 1.1

Then

If u r positive u r on 1.1

you can try this

Close your wallet

1. Go to  %appdata%/roaming/vericoin
2. Delete everything in vericoin including wallet.dat and conf
3. Close now empty vericoin
4. Start 1.1    Vericoin.qt (That's the wallet)
5. Let  sync to completion. you'll probably have a zero balance
6.Close Wallet
7. go back to %appdata%/roaming/vericoin
8. Delete wallet.dat in vericoin
9. replace with Wallet.dat U copied earlier
10.Close vericoin
11. Start wallet
12. When it sync's to completion your Balances will be correct. Any coins u thought you had r gone and not recovererable. They were mined on an incorrect fork. U r not alone many folks including me lost coins this way. It's part of the risk U take playing the crypto game. Those coins never really existed.
13. If This procedure doesn't work go to

http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=%23vericoin&uio=d4#

wait until prosker, effects for cause, or testbug appear or pm (private message effects for cause) they will respond if they r awake. They do have to sleep, and etc'

They will get u squared away.

This set of Dev's is by far the most professional, knowledgeable, and patient and will work with U to get up to date

Good luck

Sigh  Embarrassed

Wallet doesn't sync anymore. Downloaded new version 1.1, deleted all but conf and wallet.dat and stuck syncing at 20160. I am again starting to lose faith. How can a coin hold value with continual problems?
