Just to remind people the dev just posted on the last page but people seem to have reading comprehension problems and are still complaining that the dev hasn't updated:

while dev is away we dont know where we are...
its suspicious that he is silent

We are working that is why we are not messaging.

Don't worry guys we will get sms working great soon, took a little longer than we expected but if you have been around long enough you know we get it done.

And twitter:

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

if confirmed scam. well, thats the end of it.

. . .the fuck? You not even bothering to read the contents of the recent posts or, for that matter, confirm to yourself that the dev is not just legit but works with some of the most respected names in computing science?

If there was ever a sign that a coin is being manipulated down to fleece you of your holdings it was that ludicrous 25 BTC sell wall. Folks, please, see what is happening right in front of you. That whale is NOT wanting to sell his 25 BTC worth of Vericoin, he wants you to sell UNDER him so he can buy them up, remove his sell wall, watch your panic buy, sell those same coins back to you for a higher price - rinse and repeat.

Be smart and see the puppet master behind the scenes creating the illusion.

Never before has the utter fickle nature of crypto traders been so thoroughly exposed than today. This is ludicrous. All it took was one little delay to make you freak the fuck out, and then all it took was one tweet to calm you down. My lord.

You know what would be a good idea on this forum? For there to be two threads for a coin once it starts trading. One for purely project-related discussions, where talk of price would be banned and the other for all the FUD and crap that comes with trading on unregulated markets.

That way the dev could have proper conversations about project-related matters without demands being made for repeated reassurances.

Nah, that's a bad road to go down. As you can see the price is already recovering. FUD only hurts the noob investors who sell at the bottom of a dump. That's what we're here for to give them reassurance. In the end everyone has to earn their own money. We shouldn't sacrifice the freedom of speech of this forum just to safe trolls from costing noobs a few bucks.

Bitcoin had SMS before so why VRC go backward?

Nobody answred this question

Bitcoin's transaction times are too slow to be useful for SMS.

Yo, dev - where are you? Some questions here... and they're piling up.

Yeah I keep hearing mentions around the place of that lot, what's the story there? Anyone got a link to something that explains what they are about?

You don't understand this? What pnosker is saying is that Vericoin can be useful for SMS because it has ultra fast 10 second transaction times, but Bitcoin cannot because it has 10 minute block times.
