I used to really like VeriCoin but that egotistical Patrick Nosker is just killing this coin on twitter. Acts like they're better than anyone else. "Pretty much" guaranteeing they have the best code when they have no idea what other developers are working on. I dumped almost all mine because he clearly just hypes things... doesn't feel professional.
Agreed, when I was watching the coin die (it's now sub 200 btc volume per day versus the 5000btc volume per day when it was under the control of professional pump and dump groups) Nosker was tweeting way too much when he should have been working on the code. Just smacks of desperation after the big dump of the artificially inflated bubble. damn if you do and damn if you don't... People whine if there is no updates and now whining with too many updates. I guess you can't satisfy everyone. Keep on keeping on and ignore the few... -tb-

VeriCoin is trading for about 20 times what it was only a week ago and is holding steady, and you say that the coin is dying? I'm sorry, but that's one of the dumbest things I've heard all day.

I'm not making a stance if this coin is going up or down. I just don't like the huge head the dev has on himself so I don't support it. I am not here to get rich, I have enough and support advances to cryptotechnology. Hence why I used to really like this coin.
Anyone else notice the announcements about futures developments constantly? How about just wait a few days and announce it when it's done rather than hyping it up? Too much hype means price inflation. Let the code speak for itself. These guys think they are the smartest people in the world, I have yet to see anything to back that up.

Make an update when something has been updated. The problem is that the guy just keeps tweeting about how amazing they are. He has an ego problem.. lame.

He even urged yesterday on twitter CLOAK people to abandon their coin and invest in VRC. Such a shameful act..

I don't agree 1% with this... on the contrary! I like the dev uses twitter to keep in touch with the community and to share whats in the near future for VeriCoin. I don't see any EGOshit (pardon me), just a Dev that's has a vision and a route and it's sharing that with all of us. I'm my projects I also like to share, tweet and inform what's in the bag. So stop with the nonsense EGOshit comments. This are my 2 Satoshis regarding to this.

My comments are in regards to the huge EGO the dev has, which came about naturally as I used to love this coin.

You always know when an emotional post is made, either positive or negative, that both parties have a reason, especially in regards to finance.

the ego again... omg.... when theres nothing more to FUD, so lets talk about some EGOshit........ sincerely??? .......
The attempts at FUDing VRC are terrible. So far we've had people trying to say it's a scam for no logical reason, and others complaining that the developer is too passionate. It's actually pretty hilarious :-D

VeriCoin @ LetsTalkBitcoin?I'm listening (as usual) the last podcast of letstalkbitcoin (about TruthCoin) and I was thinking that would be very good for the VeriCoin Project to go there and talk about what has been done and whats to come. More people need to know this project and letstalkbitcoin is a great kickstarter. Anyone agree with me? What do you thing Patrick? http://letstalkbitcoin.com/contact-us http://www.reddit.com/r/vericoin/comments/27zdjb/vericoin_letstalkbitcoin/Just posted on reddit and I AGREE! I would be great!

I have a question, I just xfered some VRC from exchange back to wallet, I'm not very versed in stake coins, however I have now held these coins for roughly 2 hours, and when I mouse hover over the Blue Icon in the wallet, it says my time to earn interest is 2 days , is this normal? I had thought I had read earlier, some one has said 8 hours?

coins need to mature in your wallet for 8 hours before you can stake them
