I'm just talking about the new wallet yet to be released which is 1.3.  1.2.4 has no issues.

There's no "FUD".

They promised a wallet release on June 28.  They did not release it. They offered no explanation as to why.

This is dev team fail, pure and simple.  It's cool to miss a deadline, it's not at all cool to not talk about it.

if u would just do your reaserch and not sit in your moms basement with your dik and your hand , you would know that the devs said couple hours ago in the youtube community meeting that the beta wallet is done and it will be realeased today for sure, it doesent matter if its the 28th or early 29th, the most important thing is that its done , so stop FUDING , because obv that is your role here. I wonder how many promises did you break in your life?

When professionals miss deadlines, they communicate that it's going to happen.

That has not happened here.

Sorry, but the very simple fact is that the lack of communication about a missed deadline does hurt the team's credibility.

Whether you like it or not, that's the truth of it.

The largest and most powerful companies and governments miss deadlines and have "communication issues".
Get real.

Hey Guys,

In the last day or so of testing we have one minor bug that needs ironing out in the new wallet.  So we will need another day I expect to knock it out, sorry about the delay we didn't anticipate this issue as can be common when integrating new technologies.  However you can use the VeriBit and VeriSend service at our website if your concerned about our commitment or ability to do the work.  So we kindly ask for some patience while we make this wallet solid as a rock before release.  Thanks for your time and support.

It would have been better if you'd shared this before the deadline had passed.

Big leagues now, boys. Time to start acting like professionals.

Thanks for the update, little disappointed it wasn't more broadly stated in the forums. Learning lessons...there will be a dump but we will recover. More cheap veri to come.

I fully agree with you and we are in a really-really serious trouble right now. The the International Space Station will probably explode because the mission critical VeriCoin wallet beta version 1.01 was not released to random user Bitcycle. The Nato and United Nations are also switched to crisis operation mode because of the VeriCoin wallet beta version 1.01 is not available for random user.

PS:
I have been designing software for many years, and always miss the deadlines. That's how this industry works. I am sure you will be fine with the current wallet.

Oops making the same mistakes as Silkcoin. The guy is making a completely valid point and you are all being insulting schoolboys. The devs should have communicated the delay as soon as they became aware of it and not just on irc. The ANN is the primary source of information and should be kept constantly up to date.
The folk on Silk reacted just like you and failed to objectively view posts. They paid for it.

It's not fine to not communicate about it.

What do you want, less communication from the devs?  Do you imagine that's what will best increase the value of your investment?

You'll notice the actual dev apologized and said he should have communicated more clearly.

The fanboys make excuses for them.

Thanks for the replies and the help guys, I really appreciate it. So what do you guys think about mining vericoin, is it safe to assume that since it appears that only a few hundered people are mining right now, combined with how cheap the coin is, and its new potential as a bitcoin trader, that it could be a pretty good idea?

I have to say you are quite right to take the wallet release date seriously. People are concerned this issue all over the world. I have just received the news from the Middle-East, in Cairo people are on the streets again because they could not get the VeriCoin wallet beta version 1.0123456 on the 28th June. Right now I am panicking too. What can I do without my new wallet?

Is it normal for your worker stats to go missing from the veripool site a lot? Sometimes I see my account on there, but most of the time I never really see it there to be honest. I've been connected and performing requests for the past few hours now but only 3 times has my name ever showed up in the statistics so I could check on it.

And because your mission is so important for human kind we to thank you for all the effort you put in the VeriCoin wallet release.

PS:
In this town where I live there are at least three suicides this morning because the VeriCoin wallet was not released by 28th June.
