BC will have some anonymity in trading on BlackHalo from what I understand. Price isn't rocketing because nothing has been released yet.

Functionality.

Its the first crypto team capable of making a wallet that focuses on the consumer having ease of use.

They made it so you can buy anything with Bitcoin through your VeriCoin wallet, something no alt to date has done. At that point what would most other alts have done? Stopped there. Before another alt even gets a VeriBit type clone in their own wallet, Vericoin team is coming out with another first, FIAT to VRC within the wallet.

Simply amazing what is going on here, don't look at the price, price does not matter, look at what this coin does for you compared to other coins, take out the name, take out the pumps and dumps. what coin offers you the most right now? VeriCoin and Bitcoin, No other is close at this stage in the game. The market will adjust to the price. So many people made large profits, taking some gains is natural.

The developers here are smart and moving the technology forward. If you are here to invest in crypto with coins then you will have to deal with volatility.

This innovation brings people who wish to develop services around a coin. And that brings more community, and more services to the coin. Don't follow the price to much in everyday trading, cryptos are often manipulated short term at the benefit of people with larger accounts than the next.

Kenboy - I've been a member of the Vericoin community from almost the start and follow this thread, IRC, twitter, Face book, and try to watch/attend any hangouts or interviews. It takes a lot of time. I Trust and Believe in the 3 Dev's of VRC ( pnosker, effect to cause, & verdev3). Not because of what they say but what they do. They R smart, dedicated, avaliable, and  transparent. Or!  Everything U could ever ask for in a Dev team. They each have their own Charisma as well.

BUT!! This is what I think  U need to decided for yourself.

I'm accumultating as much VeriCoin as I can by what ever means I can (That meets MY standards for play. I Use Kevondo's Rules editted 2014 ). I believe that $100 per VRC will be a BARGIN  at some point....

That likely just means that you never setup a password and encrypted the wallet. In that case, the wallet is automatically unlocked when you open it (probably not the safest of things...) and the coins will be eligible for staking once they reach maturity (after approximately 8 hours in the wallet).

When/If the "V" icon next to the Lock icon turns blue, you're good to go.

VeriCoin is a currency, one of it's major functions is to be spent like one.  Without VeriBit, it would have very little market penetration relative to Bitcoin like all the other Alt-coins.  Ultimately at this point if you are going to spend your VeriCoin at many places you would have to exchange it for BitCoin.  

Now, would you rather someone wait for a peak and sell some significant percentage of their VeriCoins for BitCoin, or do small sells as needed, for purchasing things in BitCoin?  Which would be better for the value and growth of VeriCoin?

Basically you answered the question already. When Vericoin can be used as intended, like a currency, it's value will be based on true demand instead of p&d antics or other crypto specific unnatural price influences. Veribit may lead to a steady price in the end, but I think some sort of auto market correction is good for the short term , it helps to prevent the market overheating and might mitigate the effects of P&D groups at least a little.

Getting Vericoin out of the crypto realm and into the real world is paramount to it's success. An increase in real world micro purchases are one of the things people are predicting for Bitcoin. In my opinion Vericoin is better suited for that.

My suggestion is to focus on developing services to get Vericoin out to the general public. Focus on ease of use and security. Skip the anon hype, there will be a true demand for anon coins but also for a 'regular' coin with a focus on useability. Vericoin is a serious contender for litecoin's place, basically Vericoin offers everything (and more) than Litecoin has to offer.

People are trading around positions. Nothing is happening. Technicals converged with some other stuff, and a lil buy wall , then sell wall, then buy wall. Someone was manipulating the price around a bit.

Not sure what to make of it, normal trading, just a bit low volume right now, so spikes up n down happen.

The good news is, usually people who make these big moves are 1 or 2 large players, the people who take there place are often small bids that span many smaller investors.
