I know there are rabid fanboys of each coin that swear that their coins are the best.
Regardless of the coin, when a date is given, people need to deliver, that is all.
Never had anything bad to say about this coin until the continuous hype of a big announcement that has not happened.

Again, and again, with many chances to just deliver, and not promise promise promise. I have been saying this since middle of June. Apparently they will never see the value in launching things without a "big announcement" or "secret weapon" talk that is / has been complete nonsense, and did nothing but hurt the image / brand of vericoin. How in the world is it going to be THE crypto, if the developers cannot help but shoot themselves in the foot with every announcement?

I have become convinced over the past month our community is trying hard, but we have to face the fact we are amature. Myself, the dev team, and most of the community. Nothing will save us if we cannot save ourselves. I cannot keep investing money, but more importantly my time, when so many things done here lately continue to go against everything I stand for in business / crypto.

I mean down to the basics. Under promise, over deliver. All we get lately is promises, re-assurance of promises, and failed execution.

I'm going to try and cool off a minute before I really tell you all how I feel. Because this is a very, very sad day for me. All I asked was to consider no more let downs due to over promising a deadline. For a few weeks it looks like people got it... But that was just temporary, now its back to standard operating procedure of the past months which is what brought us to this point of failure.

I thought PHD capable minds, and ties to large companies would somehow ensure these devs have common sense. That is something that needs to be judged by everyone investing in VRC today. You need a lot of things to succeed, and foremost, you need hyper focus, with the ability to learn / progress a technology / brand. These guys, as nice as they are, just don't seem to be capable of the goals they set out to achieve.


As of this point I have lost my confidence in the currency, and those leading it. I wish you all the best and I will continue to watch and support the coin, but on a far less active basis. gl

Has the team thought about in the future not "showing your hand" when it comes to negotiations?

If I was at a negotiating table with the vericoin team I would have the upper hand in every scenario I can think of when you telegraph to the public, your private discussions. This is on the first page of Negotiating 101.

I hope you guys don't have to give up to much at this point due to the lack of ability to negotiate properly, and with your self imposed deadlines. I hoped the lessons where learned with Wizrig, and the pictures of big buildings and promises of huge implications of a Wallstreet meeting. Followed by something along the lines of "it wasn't a big deal" I mean... I love the idea of this coin, but the execution is laughable. =/

I was thinking the same thing. It's like a father promising his excited son that he will buy him a car today at a dealership right in front of the salesperson..... And then try to talk down the price. I still have faith in these guys though!

Promises > Execution. We are probably better off to hope it stays a promise. As soon as its time to execute anything what has the result been?

Remember Crindon saying this would be 3.5 million satoshi with the launch of Veri-Fiat. Veri-Fiat was / is a link. To continue to give these guys credit, for things they have not achieved, and don't show the ability to achieve is not something I will do to promote an agenda of getting rich quick like so many others. I have so many premium domains it makes zero sense for me to bash this project, and I will not. I just got to show you from a reasonable perspective what might be happening.

Promises are a lot easier to manipulate than a product. How much value was created pumping Veri-Fiat? How much value was created on Veri-Fiat release? How much value was created by wizrigs promises? How much value was created by his "work"? How much value was created from pumping out a promise every time the price was about to correct on the run from 10-58k? How much value was lost when those promises failed to materialize, time and time again.

Be realistic people. These guys are "nice guys". Just so happens to be these guys may the the cliche, "Nice guys finish last" I just don't think they have the time / skills nessisary to see the passion they have through. Its all a mess in my eyes, and I hope for a lot of peoples sakes, including mine I am wrong. But no more will I give credit, where credit is not due.

This is for the VRC devs, and its the last point I want to make and then im done. Its time to stop promising and start showing what you can do. End of story.

I am getting large payouts again on SHA256, about every 6 hours, which is a big improvement over last week before the pool went down for maintenance. I also have about 6MH pointed at X11, but I don't expect to see any payouts for a few more hours.  I'd point more at it but my PSU died so I am waiting on a new one.
