Long proof of work period to establish worth and give many miners a chance to gain some coin.  Also this will be GPU/CPU only so no chances for ASIC farms to destroy profits

Possibly considering a 99% PoS 1% PoW system.  Having the coin go back into PoW 1% of the year.  Unsure of whether this is a possibility going to do some testing before committing to doing it.

Otherwise the above extended PoW to PoS system would be used about 8-9 months of PoW followed by pure PoS.

Hybrid so you receive PoS coins AND can still mine coins with PoW.  As mentioned above considering a possibility of being the first PoS system that goes back to PoW.  Working on ways to implement this but if it is possible then the PoW time would be shortened to just 1% of the year (about 4 days) and then the PoS would start.  1 year later the mining would return! giving miners a chance to get coins again! what do you all think of this idea?

OP adjusted to reflect new plan.  99% coin will now be 99% PoS and 1% PoW.  PoW will return yearly to give miners another chance to mine more coins and spread awareness!  Working on the coding now for the wallet.  Anyone out there ready to tackle the logo and help with graphics design for the website?  Would prefer that I don't use my graphics skills as you can see the current logo is iffy haha.  I don't want the website to reflect my graphics skills nor do I want the coin to be released with sub-par work.  This will be a coin built by the community but with great pride and quality of work not a slap together community coin.  Come join me in freenode ##99% and we can pool resources .

I have done some adjustments to the development plan.  I think the distribution plan will be much more appealing now for long term investment.  This also gives a 2nd chance for miners to come back for some more later down the road.  I could really use some graphical assistance for the wallet design aswell as the coin itself (I am not a big fan of my graphical work on the coin).  Block reward system is being programmed in right now. 

We are the 99% lets make this coin for the 99%

I would like to put together events where we can distribute 99pCoin to people who have never heard of crypto-currency.  We need to find and protect dedicated new members and support the bottom line.  My main idea for doing this is putting together kits that can be distributed that contain a wallet, a simple to use GUI-Miner (created by our development team), and information regarding 99pCoin and its advantages.

All of this will take time and effort but for now the graphics, website and wallet are whats being worked on.  Will need to expand development team to gain traction join me in ##99% on freenode or message me if your interested.
