Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

You are correct the university of Cyrpus has the worlds first for that and Oxford has the one for giving out Bitcoins to new students
Not sure if the first fee payment what they defined here is credited to this place but interesting enough
Still nice to read about another university taking Bitcoin now

Believing in Bitcoins and it's ability to change the world

You can and should invest in your children's education regardless of if a particular university accepts bitcoin.

Very few people have enough money in bitcoin in order to use to to pay for a college education.

Very few people have enough money period compared to the cost of higher education, at least here in the USA.

College tuition makes the US's bloated, parasite-ridden healthcare system seem like a downright BARGAIN by comparison.

Which is why students are being driven deeper and deeper into debt to try to get that education.

End of the day ,does those students get high-paying salary to payback their loan ?

Or they don't ?

Excellent. Now if this trend, along with bitcoin's price trend, continues, I'll be sending my kids to some very good schools when they get to be that age. Go bitcoin! Cheesy

You are correct, but people are not going to borrow money, use the borrowed money to buy bitcoin then pay for their tuition.

This is nothing new. When btc was on the huge rally last year, I believe there were some news articles about universities accepting btc already. Same with Virgin Galactic, accepting btc to launch people to Mars haha. I thought that was pretty ridiculous, but it was a catcher for headlines.

Things like this should help increase the public awareness of the features of Bitcoin
