Can't access it in Chrome. Works in Firefox. Seems kinda primitive, having to go search for and then enter EVERYTHING in manually. Guess "in the works" is the applicable term. could have been the best POW coin on this board... dev team totally dropped the ball. Was years ahead of grid and the others but go over taken really. shame. |

Possibly adding medical research projects on boinc Possibly adding fold.it 2.0 is still in the works. It's coming soon. I have been VERY underwhelmed by Gridcoin to date. Their wallet is unstable crashy bloated junk, and the whole "have to have it up all the time to stake to get payouts" concept flat out SUCKS, as does the whole "stake" concept in general. The earnings from their coin can't even meet electric cost at *MY* VERY VERY LOW electric rate on an OPTIMISED rig (though it's semi-close). I do like the CONCEPT of them trying to support BOINC work, but implimentation needs a lot of work. |

I was using it on my laptop chrome tab but stopped to mine Zcash. Now I'm mining Curecoin with a ASIC. I don't think it's unwise to think that this coin could reach higher levels. It's more profitable to still mine BTC and use some of those earnings to buy Curecoin. And from what I understand, mining Curecoin on an ASIC doesn't do any of the valuable research that folding on a chrometab does.
One problem is that chrome is a memory hog that shards off dozens of little chromes if you use 10 or more tabs at once like I do. I wonder if google would create a standalone cure folding app that would be based on chrome but not end up bloating the chrome memory usage even more.
I'm not sure if they work off each other, that is, if folding cure in a chrome tab creates more problems for the browsing experience. I will reinstall it on my deskop soon and find out.
