I suspect you simply don't have a qualified passkey, and are receiving only base points.
Given that he got 542,413 points for the 26th (and 344,473 by 3pm today), I'm going to say that's not the issue.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

I should have spoken in the past tense. "I suspect you simply didn't have a qualified passkey, and were receiving only base points"

Which would have made sense based on the period of time from his starting to fold and the time of his original post.

Well he told me he got a few billion pts out of nowhere and converted them into crypto, lucky boy indeed. When he finds the way to convert it all into fiat u will beg him to reveal his genius to the public, share with everyone how he managed to generate that much wealth out of thin air and confess of being a multibillionare point holder.

Whelp GTX 1080 Ti with same number of cores as Titan XP is out for $699 USD. I guess all the talk of 1070 vs 1080 price/perf and ROI is all moot now.

I'm sure that the 1070 fanboys will still come up with some reason why 1070 is "better".  Undecided

user foldy on folding forum shared this handy chart

The prices in nvidia store are quite linear:
1080 Ti $700 1100k PPD . 250W
1080 .. $550 . 850k PPD . 180W
1070 .. $400 . 600k PPD . 150W
1060 .. $300 . 350k PPD . 120W
So for each $150 more you get 250k PPD more.

...
970 still PPD/$ king
Keep in mind that number is per purchase $ (which does not include cost to operate it, which is ~4x any of the 10xx cards). Wink

1080 Ti $700 1100k PPD . 250W
1080 .. $550 . 850k PPD . 180W
1070 .. $400 . 600k PPD . 150W
1060 .. $300 . 350k PPD . 120W

If the 1080Ti actually sells for around $700 retail, that might make it the undisputed king of folding, despite the much higher per-card cost.

Per dollar invested (not counting market pushes), using graphics cards to fold is the best way to earn CureCoin, since the dev-centric direction is to push out all remaining ASICs and non-wallet mining.

Greetings,
with the recent rise of ETH/ZEC mining profitability I am wondering how high should CURE be valued to make it  at least as profitable as those altcoins?
CURE price has been fluctuating wildly recently so its very hard to come to some definitive answer.
Has anybody got some hard numbers for Nvidia folders since AMD is hopeless for folding ATM?

Do not look at current price, CURE will be atleast worth 20000 sats in the future

Just a heads up...numbers are starting to flow in on the 1080 Ti and it does indeed look like it's matching Titan XP (~1.2M PPD) @ $700 USD. Looks like we have a winner on our hands for folders!

Hey everyone, quick update on Curecoin 2.0:

We've gone through 8 internal iterations, fixed a lot of bugs/issues (radix tree for the ledger sometimes didn't return the correct hash when climbing back down a fork, clients had a difficult time forking back >~100 blocks, communication protocol wasn't expressive enough for handling certain network conditions, etc.). Still chasing a bug with clients getting desynchronized, so I'm working on an overhaul of the networking code.
