On May 9th 2014, Brock Pierce was elected to the Bitcoin Foundation Board of Directors. His election has sparked outrage by some in the Bitcoin community. We caught up with Mr. Pierce on the day election results were made public at an event celebrating Sean's Outpost. Here is his response to the controversy:

I was there that day of the recording of the video. Guys need to give him a break. Its flooding the boards already pretty bad.

OG Bitcoin Miner turned Proof of Stake Validator.
Maxed out Raspberry Pi 4 8GB at 120$ a Day Revenue with ~15K XTZ Bonds in Summer of 2021.
Looking at Proof of Stake systems all across the crypto ecosystem to expand operations.

What about the truth of the allegations that aren't 15 years old?

Is it wrong to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding for companies where the most significant business activity is a bunch of "soon" marketing via a Facebook page and a twitter account?

Almost every major US regulatory decision has been made with input from "The Bitcoin Foundation."   There are some good people involved. Unfortunately the Organization is rotten to the core.

Depending on the size of the VC, Google+ and Linkedin juice are included at no extra charge.

Yet the Foundation is ignorant. I can't believe how many foul board members they've had already.
