I saw that...admittedly, I got a wee bit overconfident in yesterday's second update. But still, I can get stubborn and say that anyone who wants NFD at 2 is - at best - going to have a loooong wait. There's still a big buy wall at that level, and the last sale at 2 was for less than 0.002 BTC's worth. The total sales at 2 over the last 24 hrs make up only 0.07 BTC's worth.

Plus, the collapse of 24hr vol from 3.4 BTC to 0.5 BTC is actually better than it looks. As long as the volume shrinks with the price, there's still a lot of HODLing.

Just to let everyone know: the sell wall at 3 has expanded to more than 2 Bitcoin's worth. So we're back to the days when someone can buy pretty much all the NFD (s)he wants at 3. For the moment, anyways.

there are some major updates coming down the NXT pipeline - 1.2.2e is out, so the new features are scheduled to go mainNet some time soon.

If NFD stays very close to NXT, NFD has a chance to become a very successful complement to NXT:

Just a heads-up, folks. I've been trying to buy-buy-buy, but as of now I can't-can't-cant. Bter has disabled BTC/NFD trading for the nonce, I think for repair. For some reason, before NFD fell back to 2, some bids and asks at 3 got stuck in the respective buy and sell stacks instead of triggering trades. The Bter folks must have found out about that trade-engine bug and have disabled the NFD market to track the bug down and fix it.

So the NFD/BTC market should be restored, but I know not when. I'll keep trying from time to time and let everyone know if my buy goes through.

BTW, this problem s not confined to NFD. If Bter's home page is a reliable indicator, they've frozen 27 markets.

I know, and I keep checking. A credible rumour I read, from a guy who complained about being mistakenly clipped a huge fee when he was buying, said that Bter's tech guy will fix it tomorrow. From the looks of the home page, they've disabled all the low-volume markets.

If that bug of theirs is affecting all their markets, I don't know what they'll do: maybe track it down by using the frozen low-vols and apply the fix to the high-vol markets one by one.
