The TMC has distributed its bonus: 0.001173CNY+3satosi/TMC,
According to this exchange rate: ~2200CNY/BTC, 2satosi/NFD
0.001173/2200=53+3=57satosi;
57/2=28.5NFD;
the dividend is 28.5/TMCasset.
I will charge 5% fee, so the dividend is 27.075NFD/TMCasset.

Dont you think this asset is way too overpriced?
ROI on this asset is 6500/28.5 = 228 weeks ~ 4 years, if NFD continue to trade constantly at the current rate for the next 4 years.
Once NFD takes off,  the asset holders can forget about ROI.

A better option would be to increase your service charge to say 20/25% but make sure the ROI would be possible within 6 months or so.
That will attract more people to this asset, I think.

Sorry for the low ROI, but the TMC itself is on that ROI.

2) a simple client without AE, DGS, .. only for payments but very easy to use. I don't know whether the client is finished this month. Possible that it will be a Christmas gift.

This is a good asset and we need more NFD "proxy assets" like this one.  Anyone setting them up can earn 5% on whatever they are proxying it.  People will buy them in order to support NFD.

well it is a small but dedicated community, and the 'stable' refers to the way that it is open source NXT and unlike many closed source (!) competitors actually works
without bugs and scams.

in respect to 'pre-mined', the same applies as for NXT.

roughly 1,000,000,000 is on sale at BTer, and for the rest there is a list somewhere, don't quite know right now.

There have been some trades at 1 satoshi, true, but they've been low-volume. Atm, NFD normally trades at 2. Every now and then, a huge sell wall appears at 2 - like now - but that coincides with a huge exciting project being announced elsewhere. The last time a >2 BTC sell wall @2 appeared coincided with Supernet being announced. This time, coincided with Blocknet's announcement.

From what I've observed of the market, sells at 2 eventually get picked up. Sometimes it takes a bit of patience, but they do. 3 is a different story: there's a huge sell wall there; right now, the cloud over altcoins in general - except for exiting new projects - means that it's going to take a real "zing" to get it to 3 and above.

Also: the network itself is stable. Keeping up with Nxt does take a lot of work, and MaWo has put in a lot of work - albeit the under-the-radar kind. That's why NFD hasn't been fraught with the post-launch problems that have bedeviled a lot of altcoins.

Fair enough. The reason why we've got our "finger [up] our ass", as you put it, is because we're really wary of Murphy's Law, for two reasons:

1) We've been burned before;
2) All of us - even me now - are constrained by outside responsibilities. That's why MaWo has prioritized his time by concentrating on keeping NFD working well and keeping it in line with Nxt.

As a result, we fell into the habit of not promising at all and just making announcement on delivery.

I have to admit that this caution isn't all that great as a PR strategy - we actually fell into the old pattern of the honest low-key guy who gets passed over for promotion after promotion. That's because we haven't been able to attract any outside talent to add any exciting innovations to NFD - the kind that would galvanize the market and get NFD's price rolling upwards.

I haven't run out of tricks, but the "NFD story" has only attracted a small but supportive community atm. That's why NFD hasn't gotten anywhere so far.

That said, I'm still HODLing like I promised earlier: I haven't sold a single NFD. It's not much comfort atm, true, but it does show that I'm not going to profit on my holdings unless I get my "finger out of [my] ass", as you put it.

Please check back from time to time, in case we do come up with something.

Nxtblg and MaWo have done an amazing job rescuing this project after it was abandoned and putting it in a position to be successful. Anyone who doesn't understand that should do a little research before posting.
