Always use the latest cgminer and add a bitcoin address to your cgminer config. If you are using the windows bitcoin-core qt client, it no longer takes rpc commands and you have to use the new bitcoin rpc executable.

Developer/maintainer for cgminer and ckpool/ckproxy.

Remove the http part.

Also make sure the QT client is synced and running if you decide to solo mine.
