According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

If you want to send me more details (by PM for your privacy of course) like the bank you used etc I will check back with the payment processor what the issue might be.

As for SSL certificates: this has been solved, thanks for pointing it out.
