New algo?
Let's test it!  Wink

sry just have to say this:

The same guy developed SLOTHCOIN, and once he saw that the coin appears to be dying he abandoned the ship and started Primio. Now the subreddit and everything can't really be maintained, as he still is the administrator but doesn't give a f*** about this.

Looks like he just wants to make money, or why start a new coin again instead of promoting the first one.

Interesting point....dev any reply to this? It's quite important to trust a dev for a coin to live and grow.

What about what happened with slothcoin?

New algo?
Let's test it!  Wink

I already messaged daimi85 and appointed a new mod to Slothcoin subreddit. I don't see a point in developing slothcoin any further. In my opinion the interest for slothcoin is just too low. I don't even know how i'm in it "just for the money" when there isn't even a premine for Primio. I have lost about $100 to slothcoin but I still have the large quantity of the premine, i have not sold it. I already pointed out, if theres need for a dev for slothcoin i will be there. But don't expect me to devote my life to it. I have a life and i also help other coins develop. Slothcoin is imo a pretty solid idea and the mechanics are up to date. No extra stupid shit has to be added, that does not bear a function. Lately i have been busy and my attention was way off sloth, but does a coin really need it developer to become so much bigger? Nowadays it's almost expected that a developer delivers a coin with an own exchange, a multipool(to keep it's value artificially high) and whatnot... Look at the bigger coins that exist now. The developer provides the mechanics and the community does the rest. Now i spent a shitload of time into Sloth and i still love it. But that was not enough to keep it active i guess and im sorry for that. TL;DR sloth does not have my main focus anymore.

Just what do you think a dev needs to do for SLOTH? I mean that requires a coder that knows the Git content?

This coin was built on the idea that sloth meme would go viral and get lots of new people all the time. It can still happen if all of us spread the meme

you don't need to be the dev to do it. so go for it. unlike so many coins it's not broken it doesn't need to be fixed, no reason to fork and make new wallet.

Thought I'd try CPU mining a coin before someone releases a GPU miner and my hashrate is overtaken by GPU farms Smiley

Linux miner compiled nearly straight away (had to install libssl-dev) and now I'm in the top 10 on NiceMining, enjoying the power....

Currently mining Primio and I am loving it!  Exciting new algorithm!!

PLEASE - add  Proof-of-Stake  to  Primio  !!!!

Cheesy

I have emailed support@mintpal.com to request that Primio be added to the voting list. Anyone else who wants to see this coin on Mintpal should email them also to show your support.

Dev- We need a ticker symbol, how about PMO  or PRIO  ?

Any particular tricks you used? I'm getting an error

Code:
minerd-util.o: In function `sleep10':
util.c:(.text+0x3c0): multiple definition of `sleep10'
minerd-cpu-miner.o:cpu-miner.c:(.text+0x2ac0): first defined here

I think that error is supposed to be fixed already... are you using an old source tree?

Nope, just cloned it today.. but I managed to compile it now, using plain gcc -- I generally use ccache and distcc, and for some reason they resulted in the above error.
