The great thing is, I managed to get stales/rejects to ~1% from the olden days 4-5%, now with just using cgminer 2.4.4 it seems to halve that free of charge, less work for me to worry about. Cheesy

Also it seems alot of users have recently switched to cgminer in general, poolwide stale/reject rate is sitting at 0.48% , now if only everyone who havnt change to cgminer would take the plunge and do it. Smiley

There is a problem with Dynamic Intensity in the latest release of CGMiner

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.msg1002431#msg1002431

If u run dynamic intensity (as I do) it goes to -10 and stays there

So I get 3 MHz per second instead of my usual 480 MHz  Cheesy

Just so everyone knows.... if u do the upgrade, pls use a set Intensity

Yup thats true however if you run atleast a 5850 or higher then using intensity 5 seems to work just as well as normal dynamic, thats what I use on my desktop miner/gaming/work etc.

NOTICE:

Im sure many of you who have been mining on the pool for a while must have noticed an ever decreasing stalerate and right now 90%+ of the miners sit at 0.5-0.8% range which is a fair number however if you update to CGMINER 2.4.4 I can pretty much guarantee you that the your stalerate will drop even more.

I ran overnight with cgminer 2.4.4 and across 100+ blocks(LPs) I am still sitting at 0.01% reject/stale rate, I dont expect it to realisticly stay this low but compared to my cgminer 2.4.3 (0.6%) and phoenix2 (1.1%) matched up along with same duration it clearly shows vast improvements.

Just some food for thought. Smiley

Clipse , Your the man! Im at 0,52% stale at 550000 shares, but notice Im mostly a fpga-cluster running BTCminer 0622, only two gpu at cgminer. Will try cgminer with fpgas (ztex) again soon.

Some slowdown here, I think due to shitty connectivity between his host and level3. No errors from your miners?

There are no shares missing, Im not sure what you may have done ie. disconnected and remained at a backup pool perhaps for a duration of time ? All I know for a fact is that every submitted share is getting logged so when you were connected the shares wouldnt go missing.

PS. You can check in payout history that your current share count is on par, if not a bit higher, than the previous 2 payment cycle shares you submitted.

UPDATE:

Ive tweaked the site hashrate 5min reporting a bit and it shouldnt show 0 or double hashrate anymore however it is still not behaving 100% ie. it may at some stat updates over/under report hashrate by 10-20%, I will look into this further as soon as I have more free time.

The 30/60min will have to wait since I cant get accurate numbers on that with the current updating process unfortunately.

There is alot of work to be done to get the webstats up to better standards and this work has been delayed over and over which many of you would know however Im meeting with 2 programmers to help out sometime this week and if they accept my offer then site features should be moving forward faster in the coming weeks.

PS. I havnt forgotten about introducing weekly poolwide extra rewards above the default Bonus PPS rewards as stated before, I just havnt had any chance to move forward with that just yet. Its still in the pipeline. Smiley

URGENT NOTICE:

Please contact me, either by email or PM, before you add any additional hashing above what you signed up with so that I can first confirm if its possible. I want to ensure reliability and slow but steady growth and if you signup with 1GH and suddenly start to mine with 10GH+ you effectively make it that much harder for me to manage things right now.

Everyone wants a reliable high earnings pool so lets work together to keep it stable.

Thanks for your co-operation.

any problems with fluctuations of a few hundred mhash ?

I assume that question is directed to notifying me with increase hashrate, if so:

Not neccesarily but as a rule of thumb I would rather insist users to PM/email/contact me on irc(yes you AndrewBUD, hehe) if they plan to increase their hashrate from the Signup hashrate. Its really not that hard for someone who plans to add extra hashing power to first confirm with me, in most cases you will get an answer within an hour if not much quicker.

Im only refering to your max hashrate that I could expect to see from you. Fluctuations due to hardware issues would only be lower than that so if you increased hashrate from your initial signup just confirm that with me so I can keep track of the expected numbers. Smiley
