WTS BTC in SF BAY Area

After my recant experience trying to sell bitcoin through Tradehill and them not sending funds or answering my emails for going on 17 days now, I'm really reluctant to just try sending off BTC to the next exchange on the list with my fingers crossed.I mean WTF they were supposedly the 2nd biggest out there.I really can't afford another lesson like that.     I would prefer to keep it more simple than MtGox -Dwolla- my bank?Two steps with possible probs. Someone in the nearby SF area must be interested in buying BTC while avoiding the the same potential problems.A simple in-person  face to face fair market value exchange?

Like I said, if at all avoidable I'd rather not send out btc in hopes of not getting Tradehilled by another service.I'm sure there are some solid ones still out there, I'm fairly new and losing nearly $1200 in one of my 2 of my only attempts at selling thru a service kind of shakes my confidence.

Cryptoxchange apparently only charges a $5 flat rate for any transfer (they swallow the fees your bank would normally charge you.  They're based in Australia and apparently they are insured.

BTW, I've been using TradeHill for 6-7 months.  This is the first time I've really seen them drag on an issue beyond what could be considered reasonable.

If 1) You want to get rid of BTC fast and 2) Casascius is offering to buy, then 3) you've found a great solution    He's probably one of the most reputable members on here.

If I can do something directly with someone, that would be ideal.Also, planning to try my luck with a another service or two and keeping the amount lower.

I know someone in Sacramento who knows nothing about bitcoin but who has expressed an interest.  Don't know that he'd be buying 1100, but if he decided he wanted some, it would probably be cash, and would probably be an amount worth hooking up for (my guess).  He commutes to Tracy.  Thought I'd see if two and two were easy to put together.

Also there's Roger at MemoryDealers in Santa Clara.  He'd probably do a direct deal with you, he would probably buy the whole lot off you no-questions-asked if you gave him a few percent discount off the spot price with a direct deposit to your bank account.  He is trustworthy as well, but I would also escrow if you wanted (a no-brainer for me, since I doubt you'll have a problem).  Or you could probably just go there if it's not too far.

I've also e-mailed a couple others in the area alerting them to this thread.  (BTW, I live in Utah, so I'm not a candidate for a face-to-face Bay area deal myself...)
