Yeah, natural elements can effect the wallet in some way?

If not, then report it back here lol.

But, I`d prefer the paper wallet still and put in my normal wallet etc.

I think the paper wallet is just played out. It has its disadvantages as well, since its paper it can get wet and run the ink, tear, burn, get tossed with receipts when cleaning a physical wallet. Metal or hardware wallets are the future Smiley

Metal wallet should be fine, it's low cost, durable and good-looking.

That actually looks very nice and I like the black in the grooves. Is this something you've made or randomly found online?

Yeah I would actually like to be able to custom make one of those...any ideas other than very carefully using a dremel + stencil (I don't have a drill press or anything).

The advantage that these ones would have is that you don't have to worry about anodized metal scratching off, which is huge...

We have plastic bit-cards from Germany available for shipping from Canada now.
Also working to stock the aluminum crypto-cards and minted coins ASAP.

Those cards look like they would have a very hard time scanning in my phone's QR scanner. The background would obscure some of the data, at least that's what I would imagine.

Good eye.  Shocked I was actually posting and old version of the photo from a test batch by mistake. We had some issues with that on the first test-batch, the right side QR-codes didn't always scan well. The manufacturer created updated codes with better readability for us.

This is what the cards we are shipping actually look like now. They are tested readable on multiple devices.

This was posted in /r/Bitcoin. This guy CNC machined that BTC address for his dad.
He posted all about it here and a whole step by step process here. There's a store already selling something like this but i'm not sure that's his work or somebody else here. He CNC machined a lot's of things after that like this.

This was his final product.

Thank you for providing the references. Unfortunately I don't have a CNC machine and what I think would add a lot of value to the steel chains that are being sold is if they had a BIP0038 private key on the back, making these fire proof steel cold storage wallets is where the real money is!
