LEALANA COIN SALES HAVE RESUMED!

GET YOUR COINS AT LEALANA.COM. <------------------

LEALANA COIN SALES HAVE RESUMED!

After much thought and consideration I have decided to start selling assembled unfunded coins. Buyers will be funding their own Lealana coins.

Coins will have a GREEN colored address. LTC silver coins will also be prefixed with "Lbf". BTC silver coins will be prefixed with "1BF". Buyers will receive an electronic format of the coin addresse(s) for funding.

Coins will be marked with a laser "BUYER-FUNDED" on a small portion of the hologram to decipher between older coins and the buyer-funded coins.

COAs will no longer going to be provided for any coins sold. Leatherettes and capsules may be provided based on the coin type you are ordering.

A new 0.1 BTC Lealana Brass coin is now for sale on LEALANA.COM along with the other 2013 coin products offered. Pictures are below:

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Very cool!

But why not sell the coins without the holograms attached to them? The paranoid amongst of us would appreciate.  Grin

I may consider doing this. We'll see.  Smiley

I would not sell my holograms unattached to the coins. That would create too much confusion as someone could swap holos and coins etc.

Hey good to see you back. Since you're selling these coins again but unfunded, I'm assuming FINCEN has not gotten back to you on the legal issues about this.

This type of regulatory precedence is huge, I don't imagine they would have given you a straight forward answer in a timely manner.

Hey good to see you back. Since you're selling these coins again but unfunded, I'm assuming FINCEN has not gotten back to you on the legal issues about this.

This type of regulatory precedence is huge, I don't imagine they would have given you a straight forward answer in a timely manner.

FinCEN's main concern was that I (or another business) would receive BTC/LTC from customers then turn around and fund the coins they bought and not necessarily with the exact same coins used to purchase. This, to them, is somewhat shady and needs to have some light shown upon this (perhaps money laundering?).

Given I now am never going to touch any customer's BTC/LTC that is used to fund their coins, I am no longer "money transmitting". I'm basically selling coins with holograms and some laser etching done on them for BTC and LTC. Of course I am required to report my income and pay my taxes which I have already done for the 2013 year.  Smiley

To answer your question I never got a real answer from them. In fact the money services business registration was very convoluted and not straight forward (at least for me).

It would be helpful if the IRS and FinCEN got on the same page. Currently one considers BTC/LTC as "money" and the other considers it "property".

And thanks I am glad to be back.

Aloha!

Awesome Smoothie!

It will be interesting to see if the self-fundend coins will achieve a high premium price (over time).
The "old" funded coins on has a high pretty high premium price right now on the 2nd market.

Smoothie,
First of all, I'm glad to see you are back, and with a new coin no less.  Do you plan to have a mainland U.S. based reseller so those in the continental U.S. can save on shipping?  I'm sure those overseas would like a reseller over there.

If not, does anyone want to organize a group buy?  I'd prefer to avoid the high shipping costs to get a few coins.  Since these are unfunded, they probably don't need to be sent registered / overnight mail....at least the brass ones shouldn't.

I'm looking into starting a small group buy for the mainland US. I'll post a link if I can get it worked out.

Edit: Come join the US group buy, especially if you want to save some BTC on the brass 1/10btc coins. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=613155.msg6787863#msg6787863

The thought of coins that require recipients to check the value on-line, is a bit unappealing to me.

Would you consider user-funded coins that ship after the user funds them?
Something like:
1) Order sent to you, with payment for the physical coin.
2) You send customer the coin address to load.
3) Customer loads the coin, and you ship, with certificate, after confirming the coin is loaded.

This would require a bit more tracking on your part, and increases risk of lost mail(need for insurance).  For me; knowing every coin in the wild had at least the face value loaded, would be worth a bit of extra cost up front to cover your time, insurance, etc.

I see the value of Bitcoin, so I don't worry about the price...

Each coin from now on will be marked with an epilog laser "BUYER FUNDED" on the hologram.

All of my previous coins and all other physical coins would require you to check the balance despite being funded. This would be a good idea despite knowing I fund all of my previous coins.

All orders are being shipped via USPS registered mail, both domestic and international. I've had much success sending orders this way as none have gone missing.

The shipping cost is set so that no matter how many coins you order the shipping is the same price.

I can add options to the website for bulk orders of 20 coins of a particular type to my website LEALANA.COM. I'll likely set this up later on today. Group buys are welcome.  Smiley
