$2k by the end of year is quite optimistic but not impossible as we have seen BTC breaking trends every year .

2k IS the trend

I'm calling it.

Pessimistic outlook: $1k end of 2014
Optimistic outlook: $3-4k end of 2014

Let's hear your thoughts on this.

Thats what you would hope, but I think this year will be slow. If it stabilises above 500 for the year it will have done well.

"bitcoin" and "stabilises for the year" don't really go well in one sentence.

this is still just $10 up. I'll begin to call moon only when we pass the 500's

Of course, i could be blind too. i will call moon when we pass 2000's.
Thank for your input anyway.

I meant I will believe in a sustainable growth after the 500's broken for some days

This thread adds no value to this section. But, yours neither. You should be blind not to see that something has changed in the current trend. Why wait 500.

And someone said that it will stabilize above 500, it s like saying that it had already stabilize above 260. That comes from someone who doesn t understand bitcoin and his deflationnary nature.

Thats true, but I have a negative short term feeling. So if it stabilises as opposed to going down I will be happy.

I'm nervous so many people are already talking about a rally. In Nov we were at an ATH before people started getting all excited...

Yes and probably this year it will take some months more to be able to see a rally like in the past year..  historically there should pass like 5-8 months at least to have a new rally.

Folks are simply excited to see a true bull market again. Agreed that we shouldn't be talking about ATHs yet. Far too early.
