What's going on here? Any recent news? Any developments in the works?

Since u're not a frequent commenter, I will educate u on the course of recent events. Krypton is looking neither bad nor exceptionally good. Rather, its neutral which is so because occurrence of positive adjustments to the core of krypton structure is decreases every minute. Bear in mind that we dont have news with a noticeable bearing on the state of the development. Chain is slowly kicking but prices are indicative of incoming dumps and devastating calamity.

I sent 5000 kr from my wallet yesterday and they are lost. the blockchain had to fork.

"Investigate the blockchain"  Huh

Why, my dear man, that's what the Krypton Block Explorer is for!

http://Explorer.Krypton.Rocks

Have you tried re-syncing your KR wallet with a fresh chain download from CryptoChainer?

http://cryptochainer.com/dir/?page_id=881

Have you added more nodes to your wallet?

The instruction to do so is "addnode [node ip address] add" from the QT wallet command line.

Here is the list of active nodes:

http://45.55.55.74:3001/network

If you're still having problems with syncing, please visit irc freenode #Kryptoncoin.

It's late afternoon here, has tanglemymind took over the network yet? I can unfortunately still send Krypton and all my tx's show up green instead of red, like in his trust profile.

I am disappoint.

I decided to pick up some more KR to stake as the price has fallen back below 2,000 sats. I really do hope that some time this year we see KR back up there as I really like the coin and will continue to support KR even in these tough times while things are being done to make KR great again.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Any news from Dev? No tweets, tumbleweeds in the Slack, and no movement on Trello since 7th of Jan?

Shit Trello has been tantalizing my sight for quite a while, they should have been listed on NYSE but opted for dealing with non-exchange trading ventures and private equity holders, thats bigger shit than cosmic anomaly eating jupiter.

Wow the KR price is getting dumped hard right now which for me is sad to see as I am a big fan of this coin and have been for a long while now. Well I think all I can do right now is just keep staking and hope that things get better here. I may even buy some more KR to build on my weight so that I can earn more rewards from staking.

I can't be bothered with this project anymore. I don't care if Covertress has a painful tooth or whatever, she needs to learn how to communicate with her supporters.

No news on developments since November. Does she think this is a game or something? People are investing money in this coin. Closes down a slack with 500+ active members then opens a new one? Who the f does that? I have seen with my own eyes people in the slack ask her on progress and each time she gives a new excuse on why no work is completed. This is unacceptable.

Real talk

I'm not in the new slack group but this could be the reason why the price of KR has been falling for a couple of months now. It's gained a little today but we are nowhere near where the price should be. Hopefully soon we do get some updates on where KR is at and the price start to rise again. In the meantime I will continue to stake my coins and earn the rewards while I wait for some news.

Its actively developed isnt it? Someone told that the network is healthy and all, though I didnt check it coz I had no time to and didnt want to wast my time on this garbage. Ur interference is not needed and ure not welcomed here.

Thanks as I was in the last slack group but I prefer not to join there as I hardly ever use slack anyway. I'll just keep an eye open on here and also on Twitter for any news updates on KR which I am hoping we'll get some news soon as it has been a while since the last news update on where KR is currently at.

Goodbye Krypton

Dear Krypton Community,

Our lead developer, Krypton-Dev, has quit to join another crypto project, one backed by a Chinese firm.

While Krypton-Dev and I disagree on fundamental ideologies (Me: “America First”, He: “I trust China more than the US.”) I understand that they are paying him well and I wish him the best of luck.

Though I was able to modify an existing block explorer to suit Krypton’s needs, my programming skills are too out-of-date to take over as Krypton’s lead developer and proceed with the complete re-write that this project requires.

Additionally, since Krypton was always a volunteer project and has no development funds donated from the community, it is impossible to find a qualified developer who will work for free. I too can no longer afford to support this project as a full-time job.

So, I am quitting also. I am taking an early retirement from crypto entirely, not only at the request of my doctor, but of my family.

Having always been an open-source project, all Krypton code will remain available to the community on my GitHub account: https://github.com/covertress

Of special importance is the block explorer if anyone from the community wants to take over this project. The explorer is not funded and will shut down sometime this month without hosting.

I’m sorry that Krypton seems to be ending this way. I hope that someone will step in with the skill and drive to see the project continue. In my new quest for a stress-free and better quality life, that person is not me.

I wish you all the best.

Goodbye,

covertress
