We've just released btcdb and btcutil, the next pieces to btcd (Conformal's in-progress, full stack, bitcoind alternative in Go).

Details in our blog post:
https://blog.conformal.com/btcdb-the-bitcoin-database-package-from-btcd/

and the code on github:
https://github.com/conformal/btcdb

https://github.com/conformal/btcutil

We are still working on increasing the testing (and hope to get the next pieces out soon), but feel free to take a look and any comments are welcome.
