Hi guys. I'm fairly new to the world of cryptos. I bought 0.01btc in a local exchange but I do not know how to earn more without buying it. I'm relying to faucets and so far I am satisfied with what I got. But seeing that faucets give small amount of coins, I realized that trading coins is one good way of earning btc. The thing is, I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to that. I am currently studying how the markets move.

It seems risky to trade, but I really want to learn and earn at the same time. Are there other alternatives that I can do to earn some btc? I don't have a computer or a laptop to help me with. I only rely on my tablet. Thanks for those who will answer my question!

Faucets are a waste of time, but if you're happy with the amount then I guess there's no problem. As for learning, I'm not sure how you can do that and earn, but I guess if you watch the markets and see where there's money to be made. Once you get a grasp of it you could put some money in, but I'd advise caution.

You can always earn money by offering services or selling items here over on the marketplace. There's occasional giveaways in the games and rounds section too.

Yeah. Services. It seems that the only service that I can offer is my signature. But it will take me a month to do that. Thanks!

I personally wouldn't trade unless you have a firm knowledge about what your doing - it's not easy to predict market movement (more so Bitcoin than most) and usually it's a case of luck rather than cold hard logic. You could try setting up a Bitcoin related website and use the traffic to get some money from advertising if you have any know-how/technical advice to share.

On the topic of faucets:

Just out of reference - faucets are actually bad if you reuse the address with large inputs later on. If you don't have coin control in your client (only Qt has it) then you won't be able to specify which inputs are going into your transaction meaning that in all likelihood you may be choosing those dust inputs. The problem here is that dust inputs take up space without really adding to the value of the tx so you may have a crap ton of dust inputs meaning you get a nonstandard transaction that either requires a larger fee (usually more than all your dust combined) or you take a long time to get confirmations as some miners don't accept non standard txs.

You don't have to take part in a signature. In the meantime you can offer your services there. Do you have any skills? Coding/web design, languages/translations, could you do online customer service, do you have photoshop skills etc? Take a look around the subforum and see if there's anything you could do.

To gain (safely) more bitcoins there is no secret, you can (i) buy some or buy mining power, (ii) work and earn them exactly as you would earn fiat.

To gain (crapy) amounts, you can use faucets. A waste of time, unless you live in a very poor country maybe...
To gain (significant but unsafe) amounts, you can trade or gamble.

Keep in mind that there is no magic, bitcoin IS money, you won't get some in significant amount for free. You don't expect to get significant amount of fiat easily don't you?

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

Just get a real-life job and use some of the money you earn to buy BTC. You'll probably make more BTC like that than if you offer a service on here, unless you're really good at coding.

I'm a 4th year hs student and I'm currently working in a summer job that's been offered to us by our government. Yes, maybe I'm better off at buying bitcoins but I'm also looking forward to a great experience that I may gain by doing stuff to earn bitcoins. Anyway, thanks for your advice! Smiley
